I wasn't questioning the validity of your 1/10th of a second lag claim. I was making the point that you have NOT played any of these games, and thus have no basis to claim that the lag "sucks" while playing them. Until people see real games, in real people's homes, we are all just guessing as to how well they do or do not work.
Lag sucks. 1/10 is a lot of lag, even though it might sound like its no big deal. Every try to play a game online with 100ms ping? Its brutal and takes all the fun out of it.

But i guess if the only games you expect it to be able to handle is wii-sports caliber than 1/10 should be fine.
I agree. But again, the types of games where you are playing when 100ms is the difference between life and death is precisely the types of games I don't think you will get, or want to play, with these setups.
For the record, i am not a fan of any motion control crap, be it Move, Natal, or the WiiMote.
Nor am I. But I still think these setups work very well for simple, casual games, where 100ms is pretty meaningless, and I predict we will see plenty of those types of games with both "Natal" and Move when they hit the market.

Please go read Molyneaux's recent interview at Eurogamer. The revision of Natal used in that article utilised much older software/hardware and there have been many revisions subsequently for the better.

Please do not assume demo of unfinished hardware represents final quality. We can judge Lag once Natal is commercially available. Until then argueing about it is a falacious argument and utterly unrepresentational.

Natal's peformance can be debated later on fact, not heresay - oppinion - and unfinished hardware.

Digital Foundry (Eurogamer) have done playstation Move lag anaylsis.

digital foundry said:
I'd say that a ballpark figure of around 133ms of controller lag (give or take a frame)

Is that really 'that' much different to Natal ?

Looks like all motion controls will feature some lag. I still don't like motion control in games generally, and it's one of the main reasons i stopped playing most wii games (add to the quality of releases that tend to follow).

I'm sure it's going to be around for a long while though....

That commercial, as with all of them with KB in them, is hilarious. But, just like with the current waggle control with the Wii and PS3, the people in the background are prime examples of what I DO NOT want to do while playing games...

Commercial is pretty funny, but seems a little more forced and thrown-together than the previous ones. Does this air on TV? Cause most "normal" people (who don't read up on video game news daily) will not get the jabs at Natal, and just wonder "what the hell is he getting at?".

As a tech demo, I give it: 10/10 A+
As something I want to do while gaming: 0/10 F-

I personally just want to hold a controller and push buttons and analog sticks, not move all around my living room. I could be wrong, but my guess is both this and Natal will demo very well (like the Wii did). And they will probably both have that 1 awesome title that is sort of fun for a while and you show it off to your friends with (like Wii Sports). But then, after the novelty/gimmick wears off, and games start to make you do ridiculous stuff in them, it will get old REAL quick.

Again, that is just my initial guess. I'll reserve my final judgment until I see ACTUAL games played in ACTUAL people's homes. But I highly doubt I will purchase either of these new motion add-ons.

heck if the tech demo some how comes along with that to the PS3 that will be a sale i could start to think this could lead to a whole new xmb possibility.

on engadget they got soe more information fro mthe FCC for the sony nunchuk / "navigational controller"

* Wireless control completely untethered from the PlayStation Move motion controller.
* Intuitive navigation of in-game characters
* Easy and intuitive XMB menu navigation.
* Built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery
* Charge the controller and automatically pair with the PS3 system via a USB cable
* Up to two motion controllers and two navigation controllers can be connected at once to the PS3 system.
* Note: DUALSHOCK3 wireless controller can be used in place of the navigation controller for all games that are compatible with the navigation controller.

2 move + 2 navigational controller per system ? looks like that 7 controllers max is finally to bite with preventing full 4 player support if you want the subcontroller

Bumping this up with 3 weeks till relase with the last few dev Diary's and Gamescom showing I'm really Psyched for move I already have a PS Eye so i preorderd two Move Controllers and Sony has posted the upcoming Major games that will be out with the Move.

MAG Resitance 3, SoCom 4, Infamous 2, Tiger Woods 11, Little Big Planet 2, Sly Coper Collection, Heroes on the move, RE5, NBA 2k11, and i think GT5 has been listed as well. heres a collection on PS3's website of info.

I have absolutely no desire to buy Move for my ps3. The only games i would use it for is simple casual games, and i have a wii for that.

This will be awesome for FPS's. I love the Wii Remote for shooters....much more than analog sticks. So, I may just get this for the PS3. This is one area where motion controls are far superior to a standard controller.

It will just be a while before I want to invest in the whole Move package. Kind of hefty. Maybe I'll get it toward the end of the year.

I just got mine about half an hour ago havent playet sports Champions because I've been addicted to Tumble wow it really shows off how Smooth the Controllers are. the colabiration does take time to get everything set the way you like it also works really well with the XMB hold down the trigger button and move around with it ala Minorty Report. Im debating wether to buy Heavy rain or give Tiger Woods 11 a shot with this next.

Ok after a few plays i have to say the EchoChrome ii demo won me over it will be a day 1 buy as far as Sports championship goes all are good games, Frisbee golf and archery are my favorites, I'm really Impressed right now and I cant wait to see whats out in a year from now. actaully I'm looking forward to MLB 11
