Perhaps I'm mistaken, but this doesn't seem like single sign on. The message in the dialog box in the above post says that you have to sign into each app individually after selecting DIRECTV Now as your TV provider.

Single sign on works, once you download and sign in. You don’t really sign in on each app, even though you click on it. You’re linking the apps, and it only happens once.

I am still waiting for my cruddy cable provider FRONTIER to provide single sign on for Apple TV.

Pretty awesome, but the only problem is I cannot sign-in to MULTIPLE TV providers! How could Apple miss this ability?!

I have Playstation Vue for the apple TV and I love it! Signed on to many apps, including ESPN, and it has been the best TV experience I have had. Highly recommended.

Couldn't agree more. Happy PS Vue customer here too. Do not miss traditional cable one bit.

directtv now has been an option in the us for a couple of weeks now. same with sling and hulu but not psvue which is what i have

Are you using iOS 11? I don't have DIRECTV Now as an option for my TV Provider for SSO in 10.3.3.

In fact, as of about a week ago, DIRECTV Now has disappeared as an option under "Other Providers" in all the Disney apps when I'm trying to authenticate with my DIRECTV Now credentials on any device running iOS 10.3.3. DIRECTV Now support said they're aware of the problem but it has not been fixed yet. I'm hoping that updating to iOS 11 will allow me to select DIRECTV Now as my SSO provider so we can authenticate in the Disney apps again.
