Did anyone experience any issues with the ATV Vue app last night? I don't know if I was the only one, but the app was all over the place. I couldn't change channels and the feed was skipping around. This was after the Super Bowl was over (so around 11pm ET). I fired up the DTV Now app and that was working perfectly.

It was the first time I personally encountered any issues with the Vue app, so I was a little surprised.

Is anyone else having billing issues with Vue? It wasn't letting me log in to the (super crappy) mobile app and it occurred to me that I wasn't sure if they'd billed me this month or not. I went to my account's billing preferences, and it's telling me that all my payment methods (two debit cards and a PayPal account) are "invalid." I know for a fact that they aren't, and can't for the life of me find a way to contact an actual person about this as opposed to posting in their forums or whatever.

Could the controls be any more awful for this? Why don't they just map out fast forward and rewind like every other app on there instead of using the touchpad, and don't even get me started on the 10 second skip which 70% of the time I end up pausing the show or worse yet, pause and move the marker back a bit.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of using the touchpad to RW or FF. Like you, most of the time I go back too far or FF ahead too far (usually when watching a show on the DVR). It's not a total PITA, but it definitely is frustrating to say the least.
 
Do they ever run promos on HBO? It seems to be the only one that is not discounted with PSPlus, I might as well get HBO Now :-/

I have not seen them run a promo for HBO or any of the premium channels TBH. But we also get HBO free through our cable provider (although we only use the HBO Go app).
 
I suspect you will see no discounts on competing services now that ATT owns HBO essentially.
 
Does the chat support work for you guys still, I havn't been able to get the chat working in a few months (on multiple computers/browsers)
