For me, the 13 pm is a warmer/pinkish color during setup, I did notice the os seems to balance it out a bit with software.
One interesting thing, when setting up a new phone, the outgoing phone always looks whiter with more contrast, I remember thinking last year that my 11 max screen looked better than 12 pm. So maybe give it some time.

Do not remember the setup colors just that it asked if I wanted True Tone early on and some other things, but it looks great once it was all transferred with no weird colors and a much more vibrant colorful screen than my 12 ProMax was and that was a nice phone.

Sorry, I just meant I noticed when I turned 13pm on, the screen looked pinkish compared to my 12 pm, there wasn’t a setting in the process for colors, not sure if my post sounded like there was a setting, just clarifying in case it came across that way.

No I understood just do not remember what it looked like early in the setup when I turned on I wanted to get the direct transfer going and then I went to eat lunch and let it go so not sure what the startup colors were.

Play it like a game. If you want that Watch 7, pre-order when the store opens and see what date you get. If it's not launch day you can check back on the Apple Store.app to see if you can get an earlier pickup in the store, and check for third party stores for pickup. You can cancel your pre-order if you can get one sooner at a store.

If you stick with the shipping, it is a lot less stressful if you don't refresh a million times like I do. :😁: You will eventually getting a shipping notice.

My plan with the Watch 7 is to wait for a Costco sale or Apple Store refurb. I often have plans like that and end up with a launch day Apple product.

I appreciate your recommendation as it took several hours of refreshing my browser, that I was finally able to snag one at around 10PM EST.
 
Another step closer, the phone is out for delivery. Hopefully I should be setting up my new phone some time tonight.

It asked me in transfer and setup and I told it to turn on the True Tone as I have always. Also if you have night shift on with your old phone and transferred the settings mine makes it yellower because the bright, True Tone is bright white blue and supposedly keeps one awake if you leave it that color. My nightshift goes sunset to sunrise. Make sure you have settings the same but try your 13 with both on and see if that looks better to you my 13 looks great but I had a 12 before and same settings. Not sure now what the X had for a screen and what it looked like with these on or off? Just some ideas.

I don't use night shift or true tone on any of my apple devices. So, yes, the white balance in the 13 PM is warmer or yellower than the X with TT, AB, and NS turned off as well. It's not that bad but noticeable.

I had the same issue. I waited all day and ran an errand at 7pm and missed the delivery by 3 minutes.

They delivered my 13 Pro Max today and worth the wait. Camera is amazing and 120hz is amazing

I received my phone on the 6th. Really was interesting following the various flights with flightaware. What a process. 19 days. Thanks for all the input on the many twists and turns from all who shared this experience!

Always a fun experience almost like standing in line at an apple store on opening day just a bit longer process LOL

Congrats and enjoy. I have been very happy with this one more than I have with the others. Here are some of the things I like with this phone:

  • display is really nice
  • sound quality sounds great (I compared the same songs with my X and the new phone)
  • camera and video quality is awesome
  • really happy with the battery (I've used it all day listen to SiriusXM and using Bluetooth and I am still on 70%)

T-Mobile order placed on 2 Oct. Shipping dates were originally 3-5 Oct. then changed to 8-12 Oct. Now shipping date is 7-11 Oct. I received Shipper created a label, UPS has not received the package yet update. Now my tracking says Check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date. Has not updated in 2 days.

Give it time. I initially got a 10/11 - 10/18 which slipped to 10/18 - 10/20 & now it's on the truck to be delivered as I type.
