If I had the Ranger Quadra, I may buy a portalite softbox from Elinchrom,
size 26" x 26" (or 66 x 66 cm.). Portalites are aparently lower priced:

Interesting to see that at one third of the power of the main light, your second light is still very bright. If you don't mantion it, I would have never thought that a white shoot-through brolly would be that bright. Though I
had heard they are quite bright. Do you clip your gels with tape?
I think, I'll be getting two of those stands and at home I'll try to make a "cage" for the stands. Have you taken yours in the cabin of an airplane. Were the people fussy about you taking them on bord?
