At the start of iTunes, were you chose to backup device, theres a tab under which lets you encrypt.

If you are an iPhone user that already has VPN settings set up, i think you need to turn on your VPN and then select the "jailbreak" VPN that was set up. Select that then turn on VPN and that should crash your phone, do the reboot and you will have Cydia.

Hmm i think opening bitesms fixed it. clock app is fine now. now my phone is jailbroken and I have my phone just like it was on my iPhone 4. So happy

it makes no difference to me, as my backup isn't encrypted anyway, so i fail to see how unchecking that helps the vpn work

guys...if your getting database error.

goto settings, VPN and turn on.
