I think all of it is stiff polycarbonate and the side portions/lip/button area that are colored (grey, red, orange, etc) are TPU.

Let me guess... Bodyguardz or any other skin on the sides probably won't fit with this case.. Can anyone confirm?

I tried the case on my ip5 with full body ghost armor. No problem with fit. It was difficult to get off but apparently it's difficult for everyone. When it came off it did not damage the ghost armor anywhere. I was worried about the sides of the phone when I was taking off the case but they look perfect.

very nice

Lots of upside with a nice firm back and it doesn't add to the bulk of the phone.
Heard people spending time trying to get it off. Found out myself it's not hard at all just be working it off from the corner with the camera.

Came right off in seconds no problem.

Great case for the right price.

I use this case with a bodyguadrz back and siding and it fits snug. Just to note the other day when I placed my phone down on a flat surface I noticed a very minimal wobble. This concerned me because I was one of the lucky ones who received a flawless white iPhone. I took the phone out the case and placed them both side by side. It seems like the case has a very slight curve and has bent my phone ever so slightly. Its nothing major but I have read other post of iphones bending due to the softer metals and I want to use the case but I don't want it bend my phone permanently over time. Can anyone with this case tell me if there is a slight curve in yours, because I'm thinking I got a faulty case and will just purchase another since the price is low. Thanking you in advance!

I have 2 of these cases, one on a white, the other on a black. The white phone has a Spigen crystal on the front.
No curves in either case, no bend or wobble on either phone.

Thanks for input I'm going to buy another one and a elago flex case and see which one I like better.

Got this case on Saturday (paid $13 on eBay) and am in LOVE with it. I can't see switching to another case anytime soon.

I was kind of surprised how slim it really is. It is a bit tough to get off (on is simple), but I don't plan on taking it off other than to put on a new screen protector when necessary.

I actually found that with mine, pulling the top left corner (w/ the silent switch & volume buttons) first is easiest to start getting it off.

One video review I saw mentioned that the back of the case actually has a very, very subtle curve to it, but that the little rubber feet keep it from rocking on a table.

If you're referring to the actual aluminum of the iPhone structure bending, I have a hard time believing any reports of a third party case causing this to happen. 6061 aluminum has a yield strength of at least 35,000 psi, which even at the thickness used in the iPhone would require a significant amount of force to bend, certainly not the force caused by a tightly fitting plastic case. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it!

Can't wait to give the orange a try!

Red looks cool too.

I saw this reseller (MiniSuit, bought a generic smoke TPU case from them) has a white Poetic Atmosphere equivalent that I haven't seen elsewhere:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846 (click the thumbnail right next to the red one)

It looks good but I think I'm done buying cases for a while.

are you still rocking the diztronic? i have the black diztronic and was thinking of getting the poetic to show off the iphone's back. how bad is the floppy bottom lip?

I still am using the Diztronic. The curved side is nice.

I really like it for a bunch of reasons, but the Poetic is lighter, thinner, and shows off the aluminum back better (as opposed to frost that blends it a bit with the glass back). It's also truer to its naked form.

Atmosphere will either be my backup or one that I switch it up with occasionally.

Didn't like the grey lip on the white phone with the standard Atmosphere. But the lip is fine. It has a bit of give on it, but unless you apply your finger in that area, seems alright.

my orange poetic (looks better than the grey standard one on white, and I don't care for my red that much-- looks sort of pink in a lot of circumstances). Wish I got a white one as well, but I think the orange is a refreshing change.

Ordered two standard smoke matte Poetic Atmospheres off Amazon based on the recommendations in this thread and absolutely love them. Have one a white and the other on the black iPhone and I couldn't be more pleased with the look, feel and thickness of the case. Definitely can stop my hunt for the perfect case. This is it.

MiniSuit Purple

Poetic atmosphere knock off
It's more like a fuchsia ... A really darker pinkier purple.
Not what I expected at all.

I purchased a black version from amazon.co.uk was shipped from US which came via USPS, took about a week to get here.

Pros:- good quality, not much added bulk, no mould flash, looks classy, positive button feel, lay on table withought touching screen, no screen protector lift, low cost.

Con:- slightly floppy where lightning and speaker ports are.

I have purchased many cases over the years and would say this is one of the best.

Can someone take a picture of the bottom of the phone with this case on? I'm really interested in it, but I'm afraid my earphone jack might not fit.

Anybody else's feel rough on the side? Mine feels rough like plastic flashing in some areas. Also got a nice scratch on the back right on the Apple logo. Other than that, I like the case. Wonder if I could get an exchange? I ordered off Amazon.

Pros:
  • fits great
  • really shows off the iPhone's design
  • very minimal

Cons:
  • the strip of TPU material just above the home button is way too loose. It moves around way too much and will probably stretch or tear over time.
  • taking it off was way too difficult.
  • a little less grippy than what I would have liked.
  • if the four dots of TPU on the back at each corner are supposed to be like legs or stabilizers, they didn't really work that way for me. I figured they would stop the phone from being able to slide on a table, for example.
  • the logo on the back is too obvious. I would have preferred it on the side of the case.

Really, besides the first negative point (the others are quite minor), it really would be the perfect case. IMO of course.

Just noticed that the formatting of my post doesn't show up in Tapatalk. Aw

I got the Ebay knock off and this thing is nice. I love the look of this case. Its the clear one I have found that looks good. The only problem I have it that I can't get it off. Its extremely tight. I'm worried I will break the phone removing the case. Other than that I would say its perfect.
