Policy question regarding access to certain threads

So does that mean that the Political Forum is the last stop before the Wasteland which seems to be the final destination for all doomed threads? 😀

Well, with people like Shard and myself, our mere presence in the thread is the warning sign that doom is impending. 😛 Oops, I did it again. 😱

Seriously, I think what you said in the middle of the thread is the best way to look at it. Politics is a sideline at MR to Macs. Whether or not it's true that more new members are likely to summon the ban hamster when they go in there is debatable, but I think the good thing about the policy the mods and Arn have set up is that new people, like you, come because of their Mac-love and then that love overflows into the political forum, rather than the other way around.... 😀
