The cracking issue seems to have died down as of late, what's been happening with your iPhones guys? Noticed any cracks lately on your white or black iPhone? To the people who have tried getting replacements, has Apple acknowledged the issue?

Here we have 2 3G´s 16GB from 11July.
one black with no cracks until now, not carefully handeld (its getting hot in my car), only screenshield and no case. ( 88827 )
one white with a crack between bezel and headphone port.

All three of my replacements were cracked. Different locations between phones.
White 16gig.
Current phone is cracked. It is one week old today and I've noticed the cracks developing two days into current ownership.

Where are you? Is is really cold where you are? I've had one phone and no cracks and obviously it seems only 1/3 phones have cracks. You've had 4/4... That's crazy!!!

This poll isn't accurate because people who said no cracks "like me" now have developed cracks over time and I can't re-vote. That's like saying... do you have gray hair and everyone who is young saying... no, I don't have gray hair (but, they might get gray hair over time).

3G 16GB White bought it two weeks after the release, crack showed up by the silent switch 6 weeks ago. I haven't taken it in for a swap yet.

For 1: there hasn't ever been a 15GB iPhone.

Hey I have a 16 gb Black that i got on release day. I haven't had any cracks until i noticed one had developed yesterday. My phone is very well taken care of so I know it's not my abuse. The crack is right in between the silent ringer switch and the front bezel.

Will they replace it for me? if i bring it a "genius"
