Just afraid of getting a midnight. I’ve had a silver for years and it rarely shows anything, maybe a greasy finger from eating Cheetos. My M3 Air is Midnight; its new sibling will be the 15 Air in Sky Blue. Why both--I prefer bigger screens (eye issue) but at times need to go as light and small as possible (I want the 12 back). Different use cases--sorry the world just isn't 1 size fits all. Love the Pro 16 screen but not the weight so the 15 gets the call.
I had a midnight 15 inch MacBook Air and it was always disgusting even though I tried to clean it. Ever since then I would only get silver or space grayJust afraid of getting a midnight. I’ve had a silver for years and it rarely shows anything, maybe a greasy finger from eating Cheetos.
I’m torn between midnight and starlight, I need to visit a store and refresh myself on what they look like. Silver just looks abit old fashioned to me and sky blue is.. sky blue. Need I say more?I am a little surprised by the poll, seeing champagne Starlight with less than 5% of the votes. I am equally surprised that Midnight slightly trails classic Silver. Midnight was all the rage a few years ago and the newer version is supposed to be more resistant to fingerprints. Maybe most of the Midnight inventory already went to the early adopters so now demand is more representative of the middle of the demographic.
It is really peculiar how people vote for sky blue without having seen it in person. But there have been a few in-person YouTube Shorts posted so maybe this is what they are going by?
You may be correct. I know the iPhone 13 PM my spouse had was called Sierra blue and I didn’t like it.I expect Sky Blue on the MBA will be similar to the iPad Air version.
I think the sierra blue is more of a grayish blue vs sky blue which is on the silver side of blue. You may be correct. I know the iPhone 13 PM my spouse had was called Sierra blue and I didn’t like it.
Reviews or initials impressions are out. Here is Sky Blue.
Just order the colour you want? You don’t NEED it tomorrowProbably the silver, but there is no stock available for the configuration for tomorrow... So Im torn between the sky blue and starlight. I would go midnight, but I already have midnight and Id want something different to feel like an upgrade. Im leaning towards sky blue because a lot of the unboxing videos have it looking silver in a lot of the lighting... I may just pull the trigger and return it if I dont like it.
I technically don’t need it at allJust order the colour you want? You don’t NEED it tomorrow
Otherwise the original shipment date of the colour you actually want will come and you’ll just regret not waiting
LOL no. The MacBook Air M4 is a really really good laptop, and it's cheaper than the M3 with 16 GB RAM standard. Even people who love to nitpick aren't finding much to complain about with this one. The fact that it comes in a few colors is just icing on the cake. I'd buy one even if they only came in gray or whatever.I guess this thread proves exaclty why Apple don't need to try ever again and can continue to print money with minimal effort.
