Eh. Im a vegetarian havnt had steak for 5 years. 🙂

Well, I am not a vegetarian. But, I stay away from Beef and Pork. I will eat Salmon or Tuna (or other seafood) at restaurant (I don't want to cook it at home as it stinks it up). When I go to Japan (currently in USA), I think I will eat Kobe beef at medium rare.

I try to avoid red meat in general as well, YS2003.

Regardless, I was fond of the medium-to-well variety, until I read Anthony Bourdain's book about the seedy underworld of being a chef in NYC, and he said that chefs hate people who order steaks over Medium [because cooking them to that temperature destroys the meat and the flavor, according to him]. So chefs will toss the worst meat onto the hottest flames in spite for those people, and treat them much more negligently.

So... I, uh... now order medium. Lesson learned.
Thank you, Mr. Bourdain.

Mmmmmm, steak...

I always go for medium rare. Well-done is only for hamburgers, bud.

I only have steak once a year or so. And it have just hit me: it's 2007. So my counter is reset.

Steak... steak... *looks at empty wallet*... steak... *sob*
