i personally have had two: a macbook, and have now just upgraded to macbook pro. however within my family we have own 7, a few imac's, an ibook, 2 macbooks and a macbook pro.

From oldest to newest

1. Apple //c
2. Macintosh Classic
3. iMac G3 (Tray Loader)
4. iBook G3 (Clamshell)
5. 12" iBook G3
6. 12" iBook G4
7. Mac mini Core Duo. (Not Core 2 Duo)

Still own every one of them.

Just one MacBook Pro myself. I switched last summer, after about 2 years of pondering whether or not to.

But I plan on buying many more Mac's in the future.... Probably (when they get released in next refresh) a Mac Mini and a 20"/24" Cinema Display, for university. After a few years when I have the money, upgrade the Mac mini to a Mac Pro where I can do some powerful video/photo/web editing stuff after Uni.

Although I have an iPod touch and a iPod shuffle... do they count??

1. Several Performa's and PowerPC's (i'll say about 3 or 4) during my infancy.
2. 12" 1.33Ghz PowerBook G4 (loved it to bits...) named "Chipy"
3. 2GHz Core 2 Duo Black MacBook (hate it, now its moms) no name.
4. 2.4GHz Unibody MacBook (love it to bits) named "Chipy+"

Victor

1 Mac Classic II (well I took it from my dad)
2. iMac g3 (slot load)
3. Powermac g4 (quicksilver)
4. powerbook g4 12inch
5. black macbook
6. unibody macbook pro

I miss the powerbook the most ... :(

Ooo, boy. Let me think:

Desktops:
1. MacPlus (First computer of the household, b/w, played a hell of a lot of tetris)
2. 2fx (My brothers, the first with internet)
3. G3 (Last computer with Mac Classic. Went from family computer, to mothers first computer. Finally died in 2004)
4. G5 (Went from family computer, to my computer. Still working and running Panther. Thinking of upgrading to Tiger)
5. MacMini (Mothers computer, runs Tiger)
Laptops:
1. 12" G4 PowerBook (Bought in 2004. Has survived: summer in India, winter in Ottawa, summer in Montreal, trips to four European countries, a 6' drop onto cement, and its own powerbrick landing on its trackpad from 4'. Still works perfectly, only the track pads broken and the casing looks like its been through hell)
2. MacBook Pro (Bought in December 2006 and given to my Brother)
3. White MacBook (2.4 GHz, bought in October, technically my mothers but really I use it)

We have been a mac household from our very first computer. Though there was a PC desktop and laptop and a Sun workstation in the house at times.

Taegre (My first post, yay!)

1) PowerMac G5 Dual 2.0
2) PowerBook G4 1.5 15"
3) PowerMac G5 Dual 2.5
4) iMac G5 1.8 17"
5) MacBook Core Duo 2.0 Black
6) iMac Core 2 Duo 2.16 20"
7) iMac Core 2 Duo 2.66 20"
8) Mac Pro 2.8/8
9) MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.4 White
10) MacBook Pro 2.53 Unibody

Of those, numbers 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are still current and in use. The others have been sold onwards.

Assuming work computers count, I use a 2.4GHz MBP and a 2.0GHz PM G5 daily. At home, a 2.1GHz WhiteBook and a 1GHz PowerBook.

I have worked in the interactive media field as a creative director/designer/ developer since 1995. I know I am forgetting a few here...

Past:
-----------
Quadra 700
Quadra 840AV
Power Macintosh 7500
Power Macintosh 8100
Power Macintosh 8500
Power Macintosh G3 (beige)
Power Macintosh G3 (blue and white)
PowerBook Duo 280c
G3 Pismo Powerbook
(2) G4 powerbook (15)
G4 Powerbook (12)
White ibook G4
G5 Imac
Power Mac g5

I also owned at least 2 mac clones back in the day... a bit after that time I left the mac for a while in favor of PCs and SGI workstations. I came back somewhere after the release of the blue and white G4 and OSX.

Current:
---------
Intel Imac
Mac Pro
Macbook Pro
Macbook Air
(3) Mac Minis

I get a new powerbook from work every two years. Thats why there are so many... my newest mac is a macbook air, an absolutely fabulous machine.
