Don't get me wrong .. When I say skewomorphic design I don't mean all the apps should have that kind of look .. I mean that it should have this kind of design where it's needed and not every app ..

Skeuomorphic is overdone, but the flat stuff is boring. One would think that Apple would tend towards flat, what with the outside design of their products. But I tend to like function over style.

So to rephrase your question. Should Apple follow their own design ideas, or be a follower and copy the trend Microsoft and Google have gone down.

I'd like it to have a Dots like appearance, although with better fonts of course.

I don't want it to be a copy of Metro. Flattish, but not too much.

Forstall - We want you back! 🙁

It's like they got rid what was remaining of the Steve Jobs persona and charisma at Apple..

i actually like the skewomorphic design, but if apple has decided to make iOS look flat i hope that apple brings out a cool design.

Hmmm this poll seems silly and pay attention to the post above mine.

I'm not voting but I am looking forward to seeing what the redesign brings. If there is no redesign, I will be just fine with that.

it should have a mixed design, some apps should have a flat look and some should look skewomorphic, that's how apple can please both parties.
