Going from a 7 to a 8+ the 7 is way too small!

Probably gonna go 8+. I was so excited for the X but just wasn't wowed by the keynote. And definitely not a fan of being forced into Face ID as well as the added expense. I'll give them a year with it and see how I feel next go-round.

After reading the current reviews and questions, The 8+ looks like a solid incremental update. The X though leaves so many questions and concerns, especially around the cost, FaceID, and the notches.

One surprise; I am not seeing the "OMG!! Now! Now! Now!" I have seen with other releases. More like a "pause" mixed with a "huh?" or "what?" with this release. Even the news feeds are decidedly underwhelming.

Staying with my S7 Edge for now. Here in Canada with tax, AppleCare and the fast charging cable, I'm looking at over $2000 for the 256GB model. TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! That is absolutely nuts...And I'm not.

Well as of right now more people are either getting the 8/8 Plus or keeping their current phone vs getting the X.

I flip flopped a couple times since Tuesday, but now I'm pretty set on keeping my 6S+ another year.

The S8 is too tall for starters. The Pixel shows promise (for a first year phone), but we will have to wait to see what this year brings us. It's a pretty ugly design though FWIW.

LG needs to make a smaller phone.

And I'm on Verizon so many Chinese phones are automatically out. That needs to change too.

Sticking with my SE and saving for an iPad Pro 10.5. SE is 90% camera for me and while I would like one of the better cameras in the 7 or 8, the iPad Pro would be a better use of my money.

My wife and I have the iPhone 6s and I think we are going to hold off till next year. I'd would like the iPhone X in that new gold finish that's available for the iPhone 8 and I'd like a Plus size around 6.2" of the iPhone X Gonna save some pennies. lol!

I'm betting we will see a larger iPhone X next year and in new colors.
