poll - what is the one thing you'd like to see in a redesigned MBA?

Ability to replace the SSD and battery yourself.

I haven't looked at the teardown vids for the Air, but when my MBP's I've been able to swap batteries myself.

I'd like something like a mix between the 12" macbook and the MBA. The formers size and looks, the latters speed, battery and keyboard. Potentially a 13" screen by going edge-to-edge with no bezels on a design like the Macbook. And I would also very much like a better camera.

I'd be fine with only a single port, since I don't need any more.

Magsafe charger. I'm ordering a third party magnetic adapter thingie that's apparently going to awkwardly block the second port. But the safety factor is worth it. Just yesterday I took an awkward step and sent the magsafe cable flying off the old MacBook Pro which was sitting on my desk. The Pro didn't budge. I can't count the times my little old 2013 Air was *not* slammed around when I accidentally hit the charging cable.

Scrap the hardware pairing trend and put in actual RAM slots.

Then the M1 SOC will not run as fast. DIMMs increase latency.

I’m joking of course but that seems to be what a lot of people want.
