[Snipped]

I'm not a psychologist but i think this paraphilia of mine comes from having sex with plushies when i was 13 years old.

Naked men & woman doesn't turn me on.

Day-amn. Hot knees.

:D

I'm bi, and currently in a straight relationship. But could easily go back to dating women if I wanted. It's a great thing!

I've always wondered how that works. Is it literally a choice of one or the other, male or female with no odds. Or do you prefer one sex over the other?

The bi guys I've dated explain it like a preference for a certain hair color or race. While they might prefer one slightly over the other, the differences aren't that important to them.

Wow interesting. Must make finding a partner much easier. Double the targets.

I think being "bi" is a rough label to put on and I always hesitate to say it. It can piss off the gay community because it's like "pick a side, you're making it more difficult on us to prove that this is not a choice." and for that same reason it gives bigots ammo. :-(

The whole "pick a side" attitude bothers me. Forcing people in to certain labels is an ignorant view of sexuality. I also find it ironic that someone would take the position "pick a side to prove this isn't a choice." :p

And ftr, I am straight.

An oddly fascinating poll!

I'm gay but very proud of the fact that I'm not camp. I had real trouble when I realised I was gay cos I thought that all gay men were limp-wristed mincing queens and I thought 'I don't fancy poofs, I fancy men!'

I'm bi (I think), and I have the same problem as you. I like guys to be guys and girls to be girls. It's hard to find gay/bi guys who don't act like girls.

In my opinion, it's hard to find gay guys who don't act like girls if you go looking for them in gay clubs etc. I find camp guys oddly alluring (I guess because I KNOW they're gay and know I'm in with a chance) but, when it comes to a relationship I want a proper man.

I stopped regularly going to gay bars/clubs several years ago cos it was full of gay gays. I met my boyfriend of five years on the train. I tried to read his paper and his got really angry! Neither of us knew the other was gay until we met up again a few days later and confessed to each other.

This poll is a good indication - in theory, 1 in every 10 guys you meet are gay but it's tricky to know which one he is!

I have a similar problem. I love flirting with flamey guys and I think they're a lot of fun (usually). But I can never take them seriously.... and often find them unnervingly annoying.

Something that interests me (and a lot of my mates) is why do gay guys mince and camp it up? Is it an act? Surely they didn't do it when they were nine years old.

In the same way, why do black guys walk like they need a hip replacement?

Oh for god's sake. You homos need to get over yourselves. There's nothing wrong with a nelly queen. Not being "camp" is nothing to be proud of. Does it make you feel more like a "man"? Those "girls", because of how they are, are the ones who've been on the front lines all their lives and had to fight harder than anyone else. Who started the gay rights movement? A bunch of sissies and drag queens. Let me tell you something, those "girls" are bigger men than any of us will ever be. You could learn a lot from them.

Now go back to hiding behind your "straightness". Statements like these really irritate me.
