I picked up an AOC "portable" monitor today - it's a 1920x1080 monitor that is the perfect size to mount vertically next to my LG for stuff like my Messages app. This thing is awesome - it's just under 9" x 14", less than ½ inch thick. It's mountable on my monitor arm, and uses a single USB-C cable for power and video feed.

My eyes/brain need much more brightness than that AOC's ~220 cd/m2. My 32" Viewsonics are spec'd as ~350 cd/m2 and I would like them to be brighter [they are older now so maybe the brightness falls off; I am not able to measure brightness].

Well, it works for me. You do you.

2 4K monitors! That's a lot of pixels.
Two 4K plus the MBP display. My work involves constant images review concurrent with databases and email, so one display is usually dedicated to images with palettes and other apps on the other displays at a large stand-up desk. A benefit of multiple displays rather than a single 43" display [in addition to the lots of pixels] is that different displays can be set to different resolutions, depending on the apps being viewed.

1 Huawei Mateview 28”.. patiently waiting for new monitors to come to market so I can get 1 or 2 32” or 27” screens.

It's really not quite this dramatic...

...but it seems to work fine so far.

I also read a lot of text. I used a Dell 1440 Ultrasharp for years. Had sore eyes for years. On the advice of a coder bought an Apple Studio Display. No more sore eyes. You may not see much of a difference but your eyes do.

This is very interesting as I use my one monitors for working from home, and it involves static windows and test and numbers etc.. My current monitor is alright but I want 2 so will replace it. I have looked at so many now, considered OLED even but know I risk burn in. I am going to wait to see what the new Apple displays are like, but they will need to work with my Mac plus my Works laptop. I know you can get the get a switch box which should allow a PC to work with it. But I want a really high quality monitor, I hope they give the new Studio mini LED.

Was a LG 34" 1440p, now is a BenQ Mobiuz EX321UX - incredibly blown away at how great this looks. It was retailing for 1,049 on amazon, but the price dropped to 750 last week, and I jumped on buying it - I was afraid I'd see prices over 1,049 due to tariffs so seeing the low price I chose not to delay.

I have a center Studio Display, flanked by two 27” Thunderbolt displays. Just right for my design workflow, left for email and source files, center for the work, and the right for pallets. Hopefully the Thunderbolts last until a new Studio is released.
