Yes I think a 13" 1.3 pound Pro would be popular because not only would the screen be more stunning, but you could get work done more easily because there would be room for a full size keyboard.

I think in reality, what we'll realistically see in the not too distant future is a keyboard touch cover ala the Surface and some limited facility to have two windows open simultaneously along the lines of how you can shrink the video window in the YouTube app to the bottom and continue above ie a more developed and capable iOS.

People who crave full OSX on a tablet don't seem to consider how small even a larger-than-Air iPad Pro screen would be for OSX. It works on an 11.6" because you have the precision of a track pad that can subsequently take advantage of every pixel. Navigating a full os with massive touch targets on a sub 12" screen would be terrible however.

All that said, I can understand how some people may like simply a bigger iPad. Not for me, I'm all in with the Mini for fun/mobility purposes, but if it never leaves the house, or you're always carrying a bag, bigger can often be better. The only problem is that iOS in its current form would look ridiculous on a 12" screen, so much wasted real estate.

There are a lot of "well, it depends..." in my answer, but I would say a qualified "yes." I use my iPads for a lot of reasons- one comes with me to work and I would love it to have a bit larger screen. For home/personal use, the current size is fine, but for my professional usage, the larger screen would be welcome.

There should really have been a maybe/depends option to the poll. The only way I would purchase such a device was if it has a Wacom digitizer included, in essence a OSX/iOS alternative to the Cintiq Companion. The only reason I haven't bought one was to see if Apple has an answer. I'd even be willing to pay the $2.5k - $4k price tag for such a device, especially if it provided a full OSX experience.

no, i bought the air cuz it is easy to carry around with me. mite as well get the macbook pro, but then again i will never spend more than $1k for a laptop.

Are you speaking about a rumored 12" iPad ? Please let those crqppy devices to samsung .... 10" is the sweep spot for me

No I wouldn't buy one. My rMini is the perfect size for me. If I want a 13" screen I would buy a MacBook Pro.

I wonder if it would actually be "pro", rather than "accessibility-sized"...

A 13" iPad with 3x3 folders and the same layouts for everything would not be pro, just larger and heavier.

If it included a USB port, user accounts, actual multi tasking, a Wacom digitizer, etc... it might start to be more "pro". Until then, it'll just be the biggest of the big old iPods. ;) Far, far too many "pro" features and abilities missing from iOS and the current iPad lineup.

Tablet (iPad) - never again

I'll never buy any tablet again. The only good option is: MacBook + iPhone. In fact: powerfull functionality, entertainment and super mobility. The rest sucks.

If It was like current iPads, then, no. If it had more functionality like the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 where you can use a bt mouse and keyboard and s pen, then yes. Sadly, it will not, so no.

They already make that. It's called a MacBook Air.

Would i buy a 13 inch iPad pro ios and os x hybrid?

No i wouldnt and also i would sell all my Apple products as it would have been a clear sign that they lost their mind and started to produce garbage.

How dramatic. Instead of being a diva you just don't buy it like normal people?

With there was a maybe option. If it's simply bigger, no. If iOS introduces some new tricks to use the extra space, yes.

If by iPad Pro you simply mean a larger iPad then No. I like the 10inch size just fine.

However if I could have an iPad Pro in the sense of having a more functional iPad that is a little bit closer to a MBA in terms of functionality and OS flexibility with perhaps stylus support and other Pro features (expandable storage?) then I would happily buy one.
