Given we are already at almost 12:30PM EST, I wonder if folks would like to take a guess to see who gets the closest to the actual release time. Make sure you put the equivalent Cupertino PST so we have a common reference.

Based upon the previous keynote being around 1:00PM (10:00AM PST), I'm putting down that time.

    Any other brave guess takers?

    I'll guess.

I'd say around 6PM Cupertino time.

I seem to remember last year it was around 3 PM EST, I'm guessing it'll be about the same this year.

    2pm EST. I hope it's 1pm EST though.

In reality it will happen the moment I leave my house for some errands :)

I would just like to point out that none of these times will occur until November.

Hm, you should have put the time-zone request in bold. Things are getting a bit confusing.

    Here's mine in Apple-local time: 10:36 AM.

Uhm, they still occur. They just might not match your clock.

I suppose that depends on what 'occur' means.

It means that if someone says "2 PM standard time" and you want to be a stickler you could claim that they really mean "3 PM DST."

That may be helpful if you're trying to win the contest, yes, but it doesn't mean that time won't happen today. It'll happen, it'll just be different than what that person thought they were saying.

Now THIS is a person with a foolproof plan!
