I wish I hadnt.. I should've paid attention to the people saying AC3 wouldn't work.
I kinda hoped it would be a regional thing like people said was the case in previous versions, so would still work in the UK.
But nope, AC3 doesn't work in the UK.

My iTunes library seems to keep a folder called "previous versions" in the library, plus I haven't updated my
iTunes version yet. So it'll be there somewhere

This is one of the ways that App Store policy is crippling iOS, and I hate seeing it.

The way I understood it, Dolby was threatening to sue, causing VLC to pull the app, not Apple.
