It finally makes sense, when the iPhone says, it found a new accessory, when connecting to a car via Bluetooth

Something like 94% of Porsche owners are iOS users according to their CEO So Android wouldn’t make sense.

I think the relationship between Apple and Porsche makes absolute sense, they’re both ‘luxury brands’, but they both strive for for perfection. If there was one partnership that Apple would probably make in the EV sector in the future, it would definitely be with Porsche, given their ‘end goals’ would align, and they are both relatively secretive companies respectively.

Loved my Boxster, but man, that thing spent a lot of time in the shop and cost a lot in repairs over the years.
Clearly you’re “handling it wrong”. Honestly since everything became less mechanical and more electronic, things start to seriously deteriorating in Auto world even German ones.
Hopefully Apple will lend a helping hand in electronics, while Porche handles design and driving performance.

My engine block literally cracked open in year 6. Can’t blame electronics for that :)

As much as I’d like a Porsche suv I can’t get over how similar they look to the other VAG machines. Obviously Porsche has a distinctive shape but doesn’t take much imagination, especially when viewed from the rear, to see how the macan looks like a q5, Tiguan, and cayenne looks like the q7, Touareg, kodiak, Tarraco,

they clearly share aero and other design traits.
fit and finish will be hugely different but they should drive similar albeit the bigger engines only available on the more prestigious marques will take the chassis places the others can’t but that’s only really useful on a track.

If they can fix the volkswagen/porsche software ecosystem, tesla starts getting some real competition.

Sorry to break it to you but this will never happen, Apple have left it too late and messed up each step of the way.
To get an apple car you need a Steve Jobs and sadly we have Tim Cook instead
Working with Porsche would speed-up Apple Car and perhaps make it reality because Porsche made a very good EV car.
An Apple Car could be serviced at Porsche dealerships.

Apple designs the Car with Porsche and Foxconn makes it. Problem solved. :apple:?

VW, the current owners of Porsche are considering floating Porsche. Could be a good fit for Apple to buy it out?

I don't think Apple would be interested in supporting ICE products (and they would have to considering Porsche only sells 1 EV model). I still think VWAG still plans on owning enough of Porsche (well in this case Porsche owning enough of Porsche since they own VWAG) to still have control over the company. Of course this is also ignoring that Porsche also owns Rimac (and by extension Bugatti because they gave Rimac Bugatti).
