To each his own. I think this car is beautiful and it will be my next car. However, it won't be new. That price point is way to high. I have to pick up a used one.

Gas prices are irrelevant to those that can afford a Porsche. When it goes back up, Cayennes and Macans will still be the most important to Porsche.

Poorly worded statement by me. The reference to cheap gas prices should have been attached to our penchant for CUV/SUV's, not to the importance of the pepper or the tiger.

Yes, there are fair number of people who aren't affected by fuel prices. But for another pretty fair number, buying a Porsche doesn't necessarily mean you can afford a Porsche. Fuel pricing affects auto purchasing decisions for anyone buying at or above the top of their budget. It's not the be all end all, but it is a consideration.

As well, there are plenty of people who can afford to buy a porsche or any other of these ridiculous carriages, to whom fuel costs are a factor, because we realize where all that money is going and what it supports.

The idea of spending hundreds of thousands on an antiquated 20th century gas-guzzling consumer product ranks somewhere between donating it to the KKK and handing it straight over to ISIS on the scale of good causes.

They fall about 50% in price in 5-6 years so this might be a great buy in 2021-2022 :)
