    Hello there,

I just got a Macbook 2016 15.4" with all USB-C ports. I only have a 256GB HD so I wanted to get a portable HD. These are the two I'm thinking of getting. Which one would be best, more specifically, would a Micro B to USB-C cord be much different than a USB-C to USB-C cord?

    Option 1:
    Option 2:

Basically I'm curious if the cheaper Option 2 is going to be a noticeable difference in transfer speed? Or if it's minimal I can deal with it. Thanks in advance!

There's zero difference in transfer speed between those two options. I'd just go with Option 2 since you'll save about $20.

Thank you for the quick reply! I saved about $20 and got an extra TB! I went a head and got the 2TB since it was only $15 more than the $1TB.
