Also curious... Why you didn't just walk in and get one yourself and cancel your pre-order?

I would have had to line up the night before; it was still an iPhone launch day after all. My wife and I had both ordered the 128GB 6 Plus models also, and rumors were that stock of the 6 Plus were going to be low in the stores. We didnt want to be tempted to get the model we didn't want just because it was there after waiting in line all night or worse, walking away with nothing.

Oh, also we had used our Next plan to upgrade and so we would have had to cancel our preorders to use the upgrade, so if we hadn't gotten what we wanted we would have really been screwed. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Did the Iphone and the Ipad arrived at the beginning of the delivery window or the end?

Potentially. Apple shipping estimates haven't really slipped much since Saturday morning. The 38mm models are still mostly 4-6 weeks here in the US. So perhaps the initial demand will be filled more quickly. It will be interesting to see as Apple processes orders what more specific shipping dates people get.

In any case, if shipping times are any indication, the 42mm models appear comparatively more popular, so if you ordered a 38mm model chances are you'll get it sooner.

Congratulations! I imagine that come the 15th you won't be thinking much about the Watch.

Cheers, and definitely.... And whilst I really want it at the minute, come the window of its delivery it'll be the last thing I'll care about. If I need to get it shipped to a family member and then get it a few weeks later then it's really not a big deal!

My watch is also due between May 13th-27th, and I got married last year on the 25th. Seems a good time period for us, gents.
