The camera light could be on just to display that it's there. Apple does stuff like that.
Like, on the Alum MacBook box. iChat isn't running, but the chat bubble in the menu bar isn't gray, it's black, as if iChat is currently running. It wouldn't look as good if it was grayed out.
And Finder isn't running either in the box photo, but a random indicator light under the Finder icon would throw off the photo.
Maybe it's something like that. Doesn't really make sense, but Apple did it just to do it.

I don't see a camera in the photo..... just a green led....

could be for anything....

and i claim "fake"

found another photo from this image site

Parts of this, however, are clearly NOT Myriad Pro. Fake, fake, and fake.

I can't believe you took the time to prove me wrong. Good one, though. It doesn't always work, unless you do an advanced search.
Google isn't magic**, it has to index the page before it will show up in the search results.

**although they would like you to believe they are.

Does anyone else find it funny that the iPod touch got a chrome bezel and the iPhone might be getting a black one?

Would it be odd to suggest this leaked picture came from someone who is familiar with the internal testing of the website? I highly doubt they wouldn't do some internal testing before the real page goes live.

If that's the case you can ask for them to provide you with a link, but you won't get it, because it simply hasn't been published yet. I think this could be a genuine picture, although some details may be not as you've expected.

Well, we'll probably see next week. I'm really looking forward to it. Until then the rumors will keep spreading I guess and people will keep speculating as well.

It would be odd to suggest that Apple employs people who can't write in English to write the text for its English language web pages.

You tell me what's wrong with the first picture? I'm talking about the picture posted first which displays the iPhone with the Voice Recorder app and the iPhone displaying Internet Tethering within the Apple Store.

Maybe not?

If you look at the photo on page 3 and the one on page 1 the speaker is in diffrent places witch tells us that one is a fake, now if i was going to witch one was fake id say the pic on page 3. Mainly because the photo on page one and the photo in the links given off the apple store showing the "new iphone OS 3.0" are alot more to apples standards. But however i am a graphic designer and with alot of thought to make it look real and a good few hours on photoshop it is easy to make a mock-up and make it look like its on the official site, you could evan make that site look like its in safari.

They could be the real thing but its would not supprise me at all if there not

wait a minute, new iPhone OS 3.0 should show battery life percentage. neither of these pics show battery life percentage. both fake!

Apple accidentally confirms video chat on apple.com!1

Took me less than 5 minutes to whip that one up.

Not necessarily. I'm assuming it could be easily turned on or off. The functionality is part of the betas but wasn't activated by default.

No, that definitely Myriad Pro it's just not Semi-Bold which what we usually see. Though Apple has been using less, and less of the Semi-Bold over the past few months.

I was speaking more of the little frame on the 'website'. If you compare the font size and spacing to the two frames on either side, it's off. Doesn't feel right.

The main image looks fine, but the copy still reads like a middle school yearbook.

The phrasing is just very poor, and grammatically incorrect. It looks nearly machine-translated.

if the new iphone looks like this i would be a little bit disappointed :( it does look like the old ipod touch and that looks a little bit boring :s

Other than the fact that the video chat light is on, but it's in the wrong app? or that the carrier has obviously been phased out in the image, or that it's only part of the screen captured just to leave us wanting more, or that the image in the store doesn't have the white Macbook, or that the iPhone is running the wrong OS (OS 2.0) or that it's a leaked image yet someone blocked out the release date? Need I go on, or have you figured it out yet?

Not to lend credence to this fake spy shot; copy and paste is new to the iPhone available in the upcoming OS 3.0. Apple can and will clearly call it a new feature.
Except they've never called it copy and paste, it's always been, "Cut, Copy & Paste". It's only been the fans that call it "copy & paste". And Apple would never claim that they have the first phone to have copy and paste, nor would they use that as their killer feature they would tote around. What is wrong with you guys? These pictures are fake!
