For the record, her father was actually the one that was solely responsible for what happened by violating Apples terms and conditions. He exercised poor judgment on his behalf. His daughter didn't help the situation by posting a video that exposed the confidentiality part of it.
Didn't see the video, but from the thumbnail, she looked super young...
I Believe I read she was in her early/mid 20s. So she's not that young and clearly could have made a better decision without posting that video to begin with.
UPS currently shows a family member's device being delivered tomorrow. I suspect that will change tomorrow.

I agree with this. At the end of the day it's about doing the right thing and that's more important than a phone. Just a couple days ago I was openly considering chloroforming my parents dog because I was worried about him biting the UPS guy and my phone not being delivered while I worked the lunch shift at Arby's. But...the good people of this board helped me realize this was wrong. VERY wrong. And for that i'm thankful. We need to keep things in perspective.
If Apple is monitoring activations, which they could easily do, your phone will stick out on the map like a sore thumb. It would take them all of 5 minutes to have your buddy canned.
