the first few days i got the 16gb 3g i felt so paranoid everytime i handled it especially outside, i mean it looks so good and all it takes is one drop and bye bye brand new iphone, hello scratches, dents and god knows what else. it was then i realized the nudist lifestyle was not for me, so i bought the rubber incase case from apple and love it, i don't care whether people can see my new phone or not, i didn't buy it to show off. now i have peace of mind, i don't have to gently place my phone down on a hard surface every time worried i might scratch it, and incase it is dropped on concrete, i know it won't suffer anywhere near the damage it would naked.

i give you, my rubbery iphone.

Does that case offer any screen protection? I can't see from the pics.

I too use this case :) It's great! I had this for my V1 iphone as well. I have an orange one tho and it def makes my phone stand out. Looks very sexy :D there is no screen protection but i dont see the issues with having to cover the screen all the time, it's glass... a screen protector won't help from glass shattering and even if you don't have one i can almost guarantee you won't scratch the glass

Some pics...

Did you know the iPhone works with older iPod docks?

Still waiting for Vaja Involution case to arrive... it’s been over 2 weeks now. Still, my iPhone is holding up quite well without a case. No real scratches so far.

Here is my Flickr photostream of more white iPhone pics. Will post new pics once my Vaja case arrives. :)

hey guys, to those who asked about the rubber incase case;

i have no complaints at all about this case. it's very discreet, fits perfectly around the iphone 3g and fits tight, no loose spots. offers great grip (can be a bit tricky getting your iphone out of your pocket if it's a tight pocket as the rubber can grip to clothes, but in a normal pocket with enough room it's fine). it doesn't gather much dust, the back is very sexy with the swirvs. overall, i love it.

also the case does not come with a screen protector, so that's down to personal choice to get one or not. i chose not to as the iphone screen is pretty hard to scratch anyway.

i recommend it to anyone looking for their next iphone case.

ps: i bought mine from the apple store near my house for $29.95, a bit steep but a price i had to pay to have peace of mind when handling the iphone every day.

how ironic, as this case scratches the bezel and back among other things...

Who cares? A few scratches on the chrome? Big deal. My iPod Classic is barely shiny anymore and I could care less- all that matters to me is that it still works and the screen is not scratched. Also, the case covers up the scratches that it makes :)

Like others, I do love the look of the iPhone naked, but am too afraid of it falling and getting damaged, so a case it is!

The rose incase protective cover:

(oops, sorry about all the lint/dirt! )

I have no complaints, the case is very snug and protects the phone well while offering great grip.

Here's mine, it's a iQase Skin2, although it ripped at the bottom where the speakers are, so I used electrical tape and glue to put it back together. It won't stay like this for long :( It's already coming apart.

I bought a no name-brand case from Meritline.com for something like $3.85 with free shipping just to see what it was like since it was so cheap, and to have something to get acclimated to having a case while I await the arrival of my Capsule Rebel case. It turned out to be a surprisingly decent case, especially for the cost. It's silicone, but has a leather-ish texture to it
