Went to get a bumper the first day of release, but they were out of stock. Ended up getting this gray rubber one at the Kiosk nearby. Brand is "Skech" and I could tell it would protect the device from a pretty good drop even if I threw it. I'll be replacing this one as soon as I find something that compliments the looks better.

Just got a Griffin Reveal in white for my black iP4 and I like it a lot. They had black, but the white accents the black phone very well. And I love the clear back on it. Just gotta get a screen protector and I'm all set.
 
Here is my iFrogz Luxe Case in all black, kind of reminds me of the Incase Slider for the 3g. Picked it up from the AT&T store on release day.

Sorry, mine is naked. Do you mind having a case that covers up buttons?

EDIT: Nvm, I didn't see that there were little bumps for the volume buttons, it looked to me like the manufacturer had forgotten about them.

EDIT: ehhh threads merged. Now I just look like I'm talking to myself.

I was going to buy a bumper, but all 5 apple stores around me are sold out. I was having the antenna issue, and I wanted the phone have a little grip since I felt like I was going to drop it every time I pulled it out of my pocket or purse.
The texture is really nice. It is smooth but the cut outs on the side make it grippy. I also like how it leaves all of the buttons and ports open.
Also, it seems to have fixed the antenna issue.
There were a couple other cases available, but I like this one the best. The belkin one looked cheap, and the griffin one had a clear back but it covered the volume buttons with rubber.

That case looks really nice to me. It is "gunmetal" instead of "iron," right? I see the iron model sold online at Best Buy, but can't find the gunmetal model. :(

Oh, only BLACK is available at the moment it seems (at least in the UK) so won't be seeing any coloured bumpers for a while I reckon

Would be keen to see a case that has a slightly curved back like the 3GS as I'm not all that impressed with how this thing feels in the hand :(

I've always had a belt clip case with the phone naked.

With the bumpers not having any clips on them how do u all carry your phones when you're out?

Just stuff them in your pockets or purses?

Don't u guys/gals think that soon it will be scratched that way?

I agree. This is precisely why I had planned on _not_ using a case.

So much for that idea, little did I realize I was buying a phone I had to "fix" by installing a $2.00 band of plastic & rubber that Apple charges us a whopping $30.00 for.

There is clearly an issue with taking flash photos with my clear case from best buy on the phone. I will post up the same photos taking with and without the case on.
 
What is the point of having a beautiful designed phone, when you hide it in a plastic condom? It's like driving arround in in a really nice car that is covered in plastic because your too afraid that it get scratched. A phone is use object and it just get scratched, you should live with it, but after seeing all this shattered back and fronts of iPhone 4, I understand a bit more why people do this, it's very sad that apple is not able to design a more resistant phone and forcing people to use this condoms, why not gorilla glass apple whyy?

For me it seems a little easier to hold it with the case. And since you mention cars wrapped in plastic. My car had the plastic shield wrapped on most parts of the car to avoid chips. If you get it done right on the car it looks good. Depends on the car though.
