I don't think that the Apple brand bumpers protect the camera lens enough. You need a deeper inset to protect that lens from scratching. I'm going to stick with my Frogz Red/Black case for now.

Wow, so glad I didn't buy that ifrogz anti-glare screen protector. What's up with with the giant cut out at the top and the horse-shoe shape near the home button? I guess I'll just wait for the Power Support one to come out.

LOL! I don't really mind those "cuts." I did pre-order a set of Power Support anti-glare films, but I will probably just keep it in the back once I get it in July. :)

I bought the iFrogz case at BB just to have something until InCase comes out with their cases. This one isn't bad. Has a felt type inlay inside to prevent scratching the back. These pics are with the 3GS so appologies up front as they are well you know.

Let me guess, you attend/attended Texas Tech University =)

has anyone seen the case-mates tough cases? they have silicon to wrap around the iphone and then a hard plastic backing for the back. i think they look pretty nice. they aren't on sell yet but you can mix the colors of the silicon and the back piece.

they don't show any colors yet but the iphone 3gs ones give you an idea.

I want a completely transparent ("clear", not frosted) bumper that is very thin and does not have a back. Hopefully someone will release one soon.

Yes I got that one too. I returned it, it was too squishy and added a lot of bulk. I also thought the phone might fall out of the case, not real tight fit here.

I had that one at first when I was buying my phone, put the phone in there, saw how it fit, then changed it for the other Rocketfish case IMMEDIATELY.

It's not actually an Apple bumper case it's a case made by Griffin and its an all in one case with rubber on the outside and a carbon fiber / graphite back to add more protection.

Looks cool...

It looks like flash will be affected by the recess of the casing.

Camera Flash problem with this one

Got it at Best Buy this morning! Loving it so far!

I bought this one too but I found that the flash causes the photos to be flared. I wonder if this is a common problem with all cases, or just the clear plastic on the back lighting up around the lens.

Went to get a bumper the first day of release, but they were out of stock. Ended up getting this gray rubber one at the Kiosk nearby. Brand is "Skech" and I could tell it would protect the device from a pretty good drop even if I threw it. I'll be replacing this one as soon as I find something that compliments the looks better.
I like your case, I think it is the best looking one in this thread

My white bumper and my wifes pink bumper should be arriving tomorrow; I will post when I recieve

I love the case. It fits nicely, although I wonder if it would protect the phone much. I doubt it could take a fall. And the flash problem bugs me. I'm considering returning it and waiting for case-mate.com to release their torque cases. I need a strong case that doesn't look so ugly. lol I'm getting impatient and I want those cases to be available for order already!

I think the white phone and green bumper are an awesome combination. But I have a black phone, so I don't know if green will work as well. Does anyone have pictures of the official apple bumpers not many on here besides black.

The bumpers I can deal with, but when I look at all these cases that you're covering your beautiful phones up with, I just do not get it. I understand the need to want to protect your phone.. I guess, but this is by far the most beautiful thing that Apple has ever designed and you're covering that up for what? To protect the beauty you and nobody else will ever see?

Personally, I prefer the beauty of the phone, and if I drop it and crack the glass, well I'll suck up the €70 to get it fixed.

But these cases... ugh. It's a travesty is what it is!

Where did you get the 70 Pounds number? Last I saw it was $299 in the states. Just curious Iam thinking of going naked with a square trade warranty.

I got the same case. I like it.

Most of these cases (including the bumber) make the iPhone 4 look like the 3G. That's disappointing.

I'm going to wait on the Incipio feather to release more colors. Although I did order one of those free cases from Boxwave. I'll post pics when it comes.

ya, most cases listed here are just horrible. I don't think it's fair to put an iphone4 in any of these. I kind of like the "ifrogz LuxeLean in Iron", however, it seems it covers the logo on the back. That's another thing, why would anyone consider covering the logo? I was using a seidio case w/ my 3GS. They haven't released anything for IP4 yet. Case makers just don't get it.

does anyone have any experience with the "feather" case? They have two colors for the iphone 4 and its supposed to be very thin and lightweight. anyone have any good experiences?

I had a few feathers for my 3GS - I really liked the case - it had a nice matte and gripy feel.

Downside was that no matter how careful/clean you were it scrapped the bezel of the 3G/3GS - stuff got under and scuffed it up. Over prolonged use the case also got grubby from handling and pocket dirt etc etc.

As I say I really liked the case and for a long time it was the best and thinnest hard case. I would definitely have a look at the iphone4 version as hopefully with the design change the scuffing wont happen anymore.

In my opinion best/thinnest hard case title was ultimately won by switcheasy 'nude'.

white bumper

unfortunately, it's not compatible with the dock, so i'll have to return one.

I bought both of these over the weekend from Best Buy. I plan on returning whichever I end up not using. I'm not 100% liking either of them. I like the first one (got it in a great teal color) but I don't like how the buttons are covered and I know it won't fit in a dock. Not really liking the design of the ifrogz one (whats up with the vents?) but the buttons aren't covered and it looks like it might fit in a dock.

mathieuheartmac, do you have a dock? if so, does it fit with the case on?

I have 2 universal docks without any adapters.

Can't really take a pic due to the iPhone 4 being my primary camera now since my Sony point-and-shoot died, but i'm rocking THIS case and I LOVE it! For
$15.99, I wasn't expecting much and I was gonna use this during the wait on an iSkin Solo like gel case, but honestly, I believe this is just about the same as an iSkin. It feels like the same material, and it offers the same level of protection! ;)

The one thing I really love about it is that it won't get stuck when coming in and out of my pocket

I just got back from Best Buy Mobile where I bought this ifrogz case. It was $24.99, and they also had pink and green in stock. I grabbed the last gunmetal one.
I was going to buy a bumper, but all 5 apple stores around me are sold out. I was having the antenna issue, and I wanted the phone have a little grip since I felt like I was going to drop it every time I pulled it out of my pocket or purse.
The texture is really nice. It is smooth but the cut outs on the side make it grippy. I also like how it leaves all of the buttons and ports open.
Also, it seems to have fixed the antenna issue.
There were a couple other cases available, but I like this one the best. The belkin one looked cheap, and the griffin one had a clear back but it covered the volume buttons with rubber.
Overall I'm really happy with it.
