Was able to change my shipping address on Apple after receiving the confirmation email.
Tax went from $17 (PA) to $26 (NY), but I guess it's worth it to not have to go to PA to pick it up.

Got mine ten minutes til 3am. I went through the checkout process so quickly I cannot remember all of the choices. I want to order cases etc. but I have a 20% discount it wouldn't let me use, so I'll go back another day to get it. Got my confirmation email right away.
I can finally stop having nightmares each night about not making it through the pre-order.

see i kind of feel the opposite. i feel like waiting for the pre-order was so much worse because there was that uncertainty that maybe there wouldnt be enough for everyone. now that i got a pre-order in im walk around whistling all week cause i know my iphone is all snuggly in her box somewhere, just waiting for me haha

I got mine all pre-ordered from Verizons site. Confirmation email and everything is all set.
Only part I am worried about is the that the shipping address it has in the email doesn't have my apartment number in it, even though I am sure it was on the screen when I submitted it. And furthermore, my credit card would not have accepted that as a billing address if it didn't have the apt number.
Should I be worried that they did something wrong? Should I switch to an apple.com order and cancel the verizon one?

32GB fron Apple store!! Easy as pie! $767 full retail for 32GB w/ CA tax. Buyers remorse? NO! Bye Bye Droid!$50 cheaper on Apple for those of us that are paying full price. Other than that, nothing.

Wow, your tax is outrageous!!! I'm in MI and it's 6%... so $18 on my iPhone.
Completed order at 3:01 and still no confirmation e-mail though
*In CA, MA and RI sales tax is collected on the unbundled price of the iPhone.
Yikes, no wonder you guys are getting bilked. Here in NJ tax was $21 on the 32gb model.
yeaaaaa boyyyyyyyyyy!!! i went the verizon route just because i the apple store was down and i didnt wanna take any chances. im stoked that you were able to save that $50 dude!! i am so pumped now i dont know how ill get to sleep

i forgot if you wanted to buy full retail.. apple store is the way to go..
