Apologies if this has been posted before, but I read the first few pages and didn't see it mentioned. The biggest bug I've encountered in iOS 8 is that my Events in the Photos app are now in random order. They're not chronological like they used to be (and should be, by their very nature), they're not alphabetical (which would be wrong, but at least understandable), they're just random. I know it is random and not an error that's causing them to sort by some obscure metadata field because they're in a different random order on all my iOS 8 devices.

There is a thread for this issue here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6537791?start=0&tstart=0

Despite how many replies the thread has gotten, I haven't seen this issue mentioned in any articles about iOS 8 bugs, and it is very frustrating that no one seems to be paying any attention to it. If seemingly no one cares, Apple has no incentive to fix it. Please reply if you're having this issue too, even if you don't use Events as your primary photo organization method, so hopefully someone takes notice. It is a really big deal to those of us who are experiencing it!

Edit: forgot to mention I am also experiencing some apps getting stuck in landscape mode (it seems to be triggered when I get a banner notification; getting a text while I'm in a landscape-enabled app will force it into landscape until I force quit the app) and the keyboard sometimes goes missing until I restart. Also, the Photos Search feature doesn't search on Album or Event name, and sometimes pictures I take on my phone get saved rotated 90 degrees.

I have an iPhone 6 and an iPad Air.

Audio during phone call

I was using the WatchESPN app with my headphones on and got a phone call. I answered with the headphones still plugged in. As I was talking, I could still hear the audio from the WatchESPN.

My friend also said that she was listening to her music using the Music app, got a phone call, and continued to hear her music and the caller.

IPad 2, magic red squares

Update to 8.0 (bummer, but at least I missed 8.01:mad: ) and found on all pages from home to every application, I find a red square or rectangle bouncing around my screen. It started when I first loaded that bummer of an OS, 8.0. Now as I do anything, I find those red thingies bouncing around. They encase different data or text areas and when there are none, I get an 1/2 inch red line that crosses the the screen from left to right (at least I can use my IPad  ).
Steve Jobs would never have let this update out. He would have sat on his developers until they got it right. There is also much blame to be put on the QA department, that let this one get out, or was it Tim just bowing down to the stock owners that expected the upgrade. All and all, this one was a bummer and many are to blame.

I can't swipe away notifications like I could in iOS 7. I have to press the home button to make them disappear otherwise they'll stay there.

Post iOS 8.0 bugs here

Reminders aren't showing up in the Today View on my iPhone 5s until I open the reminders app. At which point they disappear from the Notification view and move to the Today view. It didn't use to work that way in iOS 7.1.2.

That's when reminders show up at all. Sometimes they don't.

iPad Gen 3...

Slow rotation
Bluetooth audio is very choppy
Some app icons were just squares until a new update came along.

Overall the the update is working fine on the iPad 3, 5s & 5 iphones
:apple:

Photostream seems to be uploading even when I'm not on wi-fi, therefore it's using my data. There seems to be no "use cellular" or "only on wi-fi" switch in the Photos & Camera settings.

Unless I'm missing where it's located? Help?

Private browsing is no longer Privat as when you start a search in the address bar at the top of the page top hits show up! Even if you only search in private.

No more ratemygoat.com for me:D

And there doesn't seam to be a way of erasing it.

My iphone5, camera AND video no longer work, at ALL. Period.

I thought I was the only one having significant camera function problems. I really hope this will be fixed with an update. I need to my flashlight & my camera flash!

I am having audio issues on my iPhone 5s. When I launch Pandora or the music player, I see that the song is playing, but I get no audio on the ear buds. When I press the volume controls, nothing happens except the "Ringer" pop-up. Sometimes when I kill and re-start the app, audio returns. Other times, the only way to fix the issue is to re-start the iPhone. Happened only after the iOS 8.0 upgrade (not 8.0.1, which I did not install).

Restart. Doesn't work? Restore, because that's not a flaw inherent in iOS 8.

Thank you for your reply Richard. Ya man, Ive done the reset and the restore. Camera and Video still are blacked out and non functional.

I DL'd a 3rd party camera which works! I also DL'd a 3rd video recorder but unfortunately doesnt work.

I made an app with Apple and the soonest I can get an appointment is next Wednesday. Which means thanks to this os8 distaster I will not be able to take video on my vacation this weekend.

Tiny Fonts

iPad4 after iOS 8 download has tiny fonts on threads where I normally post.

Now it's unreadable without a magnifiyer.Went to general then used slider to enlarge fonts. Nope, doesn't work on mail or sites.iPad 4 is less than 6 mos old,so needs to be fixed or replaced.

No longer have my computer,so can't get rid of new iOS 8.

Don't know if it's a bug but a number of my work colleagues have compared notes today and the recurring theme at least for the iPad is Safari. It's so sluggish since the update, what the heck have they done to it?

iOS 8.0 on iPad Air.
Seeing lots of screen in Safari going white, seems to block out almost the whole screen for a seconds before returning to normal.

Haven't read through the entire thread, sorry if this has been mentioned before.

Watch the available space on your iPad - is it decreasing on its own? Twenty minutes ago I had 555 megabytes available on my new iPad Air and now it's down to 509.

What, is iOS 8 generating log files and not deleting them or something? Why would free space be dropping on its own when I'm not using the device?

I'm giving the Mini to a friend and when I erased / restored it this afternoon in iTunes I noticed that there was zero space left. When I first upgraded it to iOS 8 last week, it had at least a gig available.

This probably explains why my iPad Mini (non-retina) ran iOS 8 just fine for the first few days but slowed down considerably over time - this morning it was just awful. It must have been choking, with no storage space left.

My iPad 2 - 32 gig model only has just over one screen of apps. Apart from those apps there is nothing else loaded on that machine. Mine is now showing 21 gig. Safari is now a right dogs dinner and battery life seems to have got worse. I really wish I had stayed with iOS 7.

This week has really shaken my faith in Apple.
