1: When a message is sent, and then the 'delivered' text comes up, it doesn't move the conversation up naturally like it used to. When 'delievered' shows now its halfway under the text input bar. I am OCD and am always scrolling it up - annoying!

2: Sometimes when selecting text on websites It starts to spazz out, and sometimes the screen will magically start scrolling up. Scrolling down or deselecting text doesn't work, you need to force close safari.

3: Random crashes

4: when rotating to landscape mode for videos, it does a weird animation. That's another OCD thing

I've gotten a pretty annoying bug, not sure if anyone else has either.
With the Music app, whenever I try to delete an album or artist off my phone, the app hangs and is completely unresponsive. If a song is playing at the time that this is done, it finishes, but never goes to the next song. Quitting the app seems to be the only way to clear things. I have iTunes Match enabled, and i'd rather not have to disable it, even if i will just have to re-enable it in a bit (its a damn headache and i'm not anywhere with fast reliable wireless.)
Another music bug would be the failure to add a song to a playlist via the built in playlist management software. Try as many times as I wan't, i can't seem to modify playlists.

Anyone else with those strange bugs?

I'm running 8.0.2

Don't know if anyone has seen either of these:

Battery Usage - I've never had any information show up showing me app battery usage, just the message it takes a few minutes.

iMessages - in details, I don't see the Add Contact option or any way to remove a contact, and I don't see any way to give the conversation a name

when uploading to 8.0.2 from 8.0.0, after restarting following from updating on my 5s, the screen goes from white with black apple to flash blue to flash black and then back to white. it's just a loop. i'm in the process of restoring my phone. this is freaking awful. you think in and update that's sent out to fix the last update that this update would be fine.

Post iOS 8 bugs here ( updated )

When music is playing on the lock screen I can tap multiple times before it registers to skip/play.

Also have random crashes.

Tapatalk when rotating turns into black and white lines resembling a barcode. I also get weird lines sometimes while scrolling in tapatalk with both theme colors.

When I play gummy drop my battery life just kind of plummets. It's a 2D candy crush style game. I wouldn't expect such a battery drain from it as it didn't cause that effect on my HTC M8.

Chromecast. If I cast from Netflix for an extended period my phone no longer controls it and I have to force close/reset for the chromecast icon to come back and resume control. Might be a Google issue though, happens to friends G3.

Siri is back on Location Services with setting "while using" on iPhone 5 and iPad 4. I did not use siri and I did not change something.

Privacy does not seem to be respected nowadays.

This is a big issue!
Would like to hear something from tech support regarding this..but :/

Anyone know how to fix this?

Just found this one. I am very shocked and disappointed that they could let this one slip past them. Not sure if it is youtube's fault or iOS.

I had that issue throughout the beta of iOS8 but it seems fixed now (8.0.2).

Anyone know how to fix this?

I reported that to Apple on the dev site during the beta phase.

Try doing the basic restart of just the power button and sliding from left to right to restart, that was the temporary fix that seemed to work for me during the beta.

It's something relating to greyscale/reduce white point etc.

Wifi drops! especially in safari but also with airdrop and airplay...have to turn off and on wifi to get it back.

Battery on my air is 10 hours tops, use to be 12-14, same usage. not horrible but not great either, could be related to wifi issues.

Burst Photo Bug

As documented in this thread, there is an issue with the camera roll recognizing certain photos taken using burst mode on iPhones (5s and 6 confirmed to be affected so far).

When using the camera app to take a photo, holding down the shutter for long enough to initiate burst mode but not long enough to capture more than one image (burst mode counter goes up to "1") results in the image not being accessible through iOS. That is, the photo will not show up in the camera roll or any folders, etc. However, if you plug the phone into a computer, the missing photos can be accessed via an application such as Image Capture.

Sounds like it could be handoff and suggested apps. Maybe also location Based adds and iAds

Settings general and settings location services. I'd Try switching those off

Selecting random words on websites in Safari doesn't properly work. The loading wheel shows at the top and infinitely spins. If you do select a word you can't even get off that word by clicking any place else in Safari.

Can anyone replicate this?

I'm seeing un-explainable high mobile data use. Apparently this has been a bug for some since iOS 6.

This affected me in iOS 6 and its came back to me with iOS 8 (8.0.2)

Went through Cellular and disabled all that are not necessary but still uses more mobile data than iOS 7 did.

Can't update apps

8.0.2 on iPad Air won't update any apps. They hang at the "stop" button. Resetting does not help. This is on wifi and LTE. Otherwise wifi works OK. With 8.0.0, same problem, though reset and clean install fixed for an update or two, then stopped. iPhone 5S updates apps OK with 8.0.2.

I can update with an iTunes download on a PC during sync, but that's a pain and does not reset the App Store update counter.

Am I the only one still using IOS 7? I guess the 8 is just too scary to take on right now. Gotta wait a bit.

You must've enabled Increase Contrast before then turned it off after.

Spotlight Search with Increase Contrast enabled looks horrible (as seen in the photo) and toggling Increase Contrast off apparently doesn't restore the proper blur effect.

A reboot fixes this.

Another 3rd party keyboard bug.. I've reported 3 so far.

This one involves writing a review on an app in the app store with a 3rd party keyboard enabled. You cant..
You get a white screen until you switch to the default apple keyboard.
