Post iOS 8 bugs here (updated)

find my friends app. Selecting a person. Seeing their location. Choose Notify. When leaves. The map then zooms in to somewhere in an ocean. Zoom out to see the world. Find the country. Find the city. Find them and their icon. But why can't I just do this

select person - choose notify - leaves - their current location

I'm not sure if this one has been reported yet, but if you get a text from an unknown person and create a contact via the message for that person, as soon as you delete the message it also deletes the contact as well.
 
I know 8.1 is right round the corner, monday but today I experienced the camera bug from lock screen, a lot :( can't swipe up to get camera or control centre. hopping its fixed :)

Safari Web Clips

Hi,

I use webclips often. Recently, when I open any webclip from springboard Safari hangs, crashes, then reopens.

I have tried clearing website history and data, rebooting the phone, and killing Safari without any luck.

I am using an iPhone 6.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Does anyone else have any suggestions as to how to fix the problem?
 
IOS 8 Wrecked 2 iPhone 5's in my house

My wife's and mine.
With mine, i can't access Control Center from lock screen, the screen goes black, and when this happens, I even can't connect my iPhone to my car to listen to music, it won't play. When making an incoming call, display overlaps with lock screen and enter code screen. I tried everything, I even reset the phone from scratch and not installing any apps, and the failure just keeps going.
My wife's iPhone just keeps on resetting itself every few minutes, and we also reset it from scratch and it keeps broken.
 
Sometimes my status bar on the top completely disappears. No battery, no carrier or wifi or anything showing. Requires a restart to get it back.

I'm also getting a lot of freezing and lagging even on a brand new iphone 6 plus. I could be scrolling in the mail app and it freezes and have to wait a few seconds for the scroll to work again. This happens in almost all apps- mail, safari, youtube...

Wifi also having a lot of problems especially on youtube. Home wifi working perfectly fine on all other devices but will load youtube videos in 240p or switch back and forth dozens of times within a 5 minute video. Pandora doesn't even load at times. I get a message saying it can't connect and to check my wifi settings.

None of these were problems on my old iphone 5 that ran ios 7. This is getting more and more ridiculous.
 
I hope 8.1 fixes the iMessage bug in badge app icon where it shows you have a new message but it stays there after you read it unless you exit iMessage and reopen again.
 
I have multiple different group threads in iMessage that will send as a text message even though everyone has an iPhone. I know many other people that experience this problem as well.

I'm not sure if it is the same issue, but sometimes messages are sent via iMessage, but the intended recipient does not receive the message on their phone. I am only able to send those people text messages in a separate chat. It won't give me the option to send as an iMessage in the group chat.

Hopefully 8.1 will fix all the Messages bugs?
 
Camera issues with iMessage

I've notice the following but on iPhone 6 & iOS 8.0.2:

When in iMessage, select any thread you have and choose to send a picture (using the camera, not photo library) and the first one will be OK, but when you try to send a second one immediately after, the camera screen will be black and you will be forced to close the app and remove it from memory before it can work again.

Anyone else experiencing this issue? any way of fixing this?

iPhone has clean install, no restore.

P.S.: I've also experienced something like this as well using the Hangouts app as well.
 
Sometimes, the AirDrop dialog in Safari gets condensed into two instead of three rows, with the bottom row drawn on the top row, over the text.
 
On my iPhone 6 I have "iPhone cellular calls" turned "off" under settings>FaceTime yet on my Macbook Pro I get a notification that I have a call- when I turn it on I can't make calls from my Macbook- I know its gonna take awhile to sort all this new stuff out but I think Apple is getting lazy- they need to test this stuff more :/

I have this problem too. One example: I google in safari and often can't get a response when I tap to click a link. I have to expand the display (iPad Air and iphone 6+). It's happened in Messages and a Mail too. (Ie not just 3rd party apps).

Fixed in 8.1, it seems. Haven't seen any recurrence either of the missing trashcan icon when deleting individual messages, but that was intermittent in the first place.
 
I can only get Airplay to work from the Control Centre on my iPhone 6 plus using mirroring.

I no longer get an Airplay icon when playing videos/music etc - is that normal?

...but now I have. That bug isn't fixed yet.

5s IOS 8.1 ... Still shown in youtube
 
Was using phone on 8.1 on my 6+ last night, suddenly apps stopped scrolling and became unresponsive to touch, though they launched fine.

Went to home screen, and rotated device.......
