Same issue appears only on iPad air while 5s is fine.

It's weird. It actually affects the entire device for me until I toggle airplane mode on and off. Same thing is happening to my Mom's at her house. It happens on my iPhone 6 and iPad Air and her iPhone 6. She hasn't updated to iOS 8 on her iPad 3 and I don't think she said it's happening so maybe that's it. Hopefully 8.1 fixes it because it's really annoying.

I didn't read every post in this thread, but it seems harder to move apps (icons) from one screen to another when in "move" mode. I'm holding my finger on the app as far as I can go to the left or right and it just sits there and doesn't slide to the next page where I want it.

While typing in Safari the keyboard (and Safari app) will randomly freeze on my iPhone 6. I have to force quite Safari and then tap the icon like 3 times before it opens.

Also, swiping into spotlight occasionally results in a gray, pixelated background instead of the blur.

Anyone else notice these?

- Once or twice a day it'll react funny to a couple of touches and then stop responding to most (but not all) touches. Simply sleeping and waking the phone fixes it.

- T-Mobile WiFi-calling will stop working occasionally, even though I haven't moved the phone and it's had full WiFi signal strength bars showing the whole time.

- alerts and alarms randomly don't vibrate sometimes. I see the screen suddenly light up from an alarm, but no vibration happens.

Not sure if it's been reported or not (haven't read all 28 pages!), but there's a display bug when re-ordering reminders. If you have a list long enough to scroll, when you bring one of the bottom ones up after scrolling down, it interlaces and doesn't refresh properly. Once you release it into it's spot its fine though, and doesn't crash or anything like that.. it works, just a wacky display thing.

Happened to me last night

I googled this but could not find it.
When typing an e-mail in landscape mode, I hit the back button to delete some text and the cursor moved over the text but did not delete it. I selected the word to delete and hit "cut" but the word itself did not delete. I can continue to type but deleting text in landscape mode doesn't work. This happened in Safari, Messages, and E-mail.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.02.

I was typing an email in landscape mode on my 6 plus. Some extra letters started appearing at the end of a sentence. When I tried to delete, either found screen frozen or i backspaced right through the letters but nothing deleted. I rebooted the phone and lucily the email was still there and then I could edit it normally and send it. I thought I must have done something but now I'm thinking bug.

----------

I don't know if this is an IOS 8.0 2 bug or suddenly something happened to the SIM card on my 1st generation iPad mini, but message pops up all the time. I've had the mini since November 2012 I think and have never activated a data plan. In settings cellular data is off. The message is annoying as it pops up all the time.

I had several Apple apps (Safari, Mail) hang and eventually crash when I try to back space to delete text.

I have some problems with copy/paste.
Today I copied an URL from safari. When I pasted it into a mail turned out it was another URL that i copied yesterday. I tried a couple of times and I tried also rebooting the phone but this bug persist. This bug "works" only with urls (safari, youtube) not with plain text.

I've had this same issue.
Also, if you copy text or URL from a news article to a forum, it acts like you never copied and pastes something that I perviously copy/paste. Not necessarily the last thing I copy/paste.

I also had this happen

These problems started for me with 8.0.2 on my iPad 3. Things were fine with the first 8 (and I skipped .0.1).

On top of websites not loading all the way maybe 20% of the time, across all browsers…

I get a lot of "invalid certificate for this server" type messages on all browsers, and consequent "this website might not be safe!" warnings for regular sites like IMDb, or this site, or Vox.
At first I thought this might be a bug with the new version of Coast (my regular browser), but I quickly saw that it was happening in Safari, too.

So basically, iOS/something keeps seeming to think that many servers are using unsigned certificates and they're not safe or could be fraudulent(??).

AND -- this is keeping my from being able to use any YouTube apps, the official one or third party, or any of Google's apps.

The official YouTube app will not load anything at all when it's opened. I deleted the app and installed it again, and now it sticks at the "Sign in to YouTube" screen with nowhere to go.
The official Google search app tells me to please check my network connection.

And most telling, MxTube, a third party YouTube app I've tried, gives the message at start up: "The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be 'data.youtube.com' which could your confidential information at risk." And I can't move on from there.
This app has no problems loading its banner ads.

Sooor, basically I can no longer depend on my iPad to load a webpage entirely, or to not give a false error message in the process. Or it is completely not functional when it comes to my most oft-used YouTube and Google Search apps, and whatever else I am yet to discover.

All other internet connected devices work just fine. YouTube and all load just fine on my iPhone 6 with 8.0.2.

This spotlight one been done before? Screen goes glitchy and grey when Spotlight activated then back to normal when I go back to home screen.

IPhone 4s WiFi

have not been able to connect to WiFi since Ios8 installation. Used iTunes to upgrade to 8.0.2. WiFi button not available for activation. Very frustrating.

Don't know if anyone had this issue.
No numbers when entering the passcode. After entering the menu and trying to call someone, the dialpad also does not have numbers, just empty spaces.
Did not wanted to upgrade to ios 8 at all, but last weekend the phone just went into recovery mode, so I was forced to update via itunes. Terrible, terrible update.
Also having issues with a wifi like the others, apps just randomly quit or can`t access them at all.
Terrible, terrible job done by apple. Shame on you.

I'm on a iPhone 6+ 128gb on 8.0.2 and when in safari using the phone horizontally I cannot click on most links. It lets me scroll the page but when i click on a link it doesn't do anything. Switch to portrait mode and the links work fine.

And don't tell me that's reachablity. Reachablity is not black and this is the bug when using reachablity

In a rush so can't look over everything posted in here, but aside from the Wifi disconnect/slow/etc issue that I know is common, I've had the following issues:

-Messages: Suddenly group chats with the same contacts are appearing as different group chats, some group chats won't let me post as iMessage anymore but only text (everyone else is still on an iPhone), and some contacts iMessages appear in two separate threads despite being from the same person, same number, same iMessage.

-Phone calls: Sometimes my phone just won't make calls. I'll click on a number and nothing will happen. I'll have siri try to call, it'll say calling, but then nothing happens. Restarting has fixed this every time, but it's annoying.

Are there quick fixes to those issues, or am I going to be waiting for software updates.

I'm not sure if this has been reported or not but sometimes when I do a spotlight search the screen gets blurry and dark. My phone is running 8.0.2.

Reboots should sort, it did for me.. Basically I switched the greyscale feature on to see what it was like then turned it off. I then got this until I rebooted the phone

Why wouldn't it be black? It's bringing the screen down. It's not a shortcut to the desktop or anywhere else.
