My 5S on 8.3 is confused!!

The whole home screen is 50% darker than it should be and the dock has black text, while the rest of the app rows and menubar have white text.

Did you enable "reduce transparency"? Because that's what it looks like when it's enabled.

Yeah I've always had it off. After a reboot the phone is now all white, but shouldn't it be all black text?

Had 8.3 got text as white by default now because my home screen text was black this morning!

On ipad air 2, when i use control center to set the brightness my settings are saved (even if i restart the device) when i use the icon settings->brightness it doesn't (resets to 50% brightness after rebooting the device).

On my Plus, ever since 8.3 my email notifications have said "loading..." Instead of the subject line.

Using desktop/full version of MacRumors forum, Safari crashes when I click on the "post image" button.

iPhone 6, 8.3... anybody else?

Instant downgrade to 8.2

I had make a instant downgrade to 8.2 due to loss of all types of network traffic through my provider 4g, 3g, edge and so on. No other actions could solve this problem :eek:

Interesting. This happens to me quite often on the IP6+ 128GB. I was thinking the reason was that my phone surely has the infamous TLC flash memory:

If there are iPads showing this then it is maybe been caused by iOS or something else. I can say that I don't remember having seen this on my iPhone 5 with iOS 8.

This Safari realoading issue has been annoying for quite sometime. If r was a hardware issue shouldn't it also fail with other apps?

Numerous bugs with 8.3

8.3 has brought a number of issues for me:
1. Crashes to :apple: screen and reboot 2-3 times since upgrading. Twice by double-home to app switcher. Nothing in Diagnostics logs
2. Bluetooth errors and stutters audio then a crash of the BT stack. I re-paired my Jawbone ERA to see if that fixes it.
3. Exchange email not updating, even with pull down to refresh until I kill mail aend relaunch - first relaunch will crash mail, but then all is good
4. Slow cell data
5. Safari will crash consistently, like trying to make a numbered list in a MacRumours post.

8.2 wouldn't let me open my address book, at least that's fixed.

I don't experience any of those things, so it can't be an 8.3 issue but rather something to do with your installation.

8.3 did not fix my #1 bug, incoming WhatsApp notifications disappear from the lockscreen the moment they arrive. The notification sound even stops halfway. If only everyone had an iPhone to use iMessage... sigh.

Calendar alerts are still buggy. This was introduced with 8.2 and is still present in 8.3

An alert will flash up on the screen but then disappear without my having cancelled or snoozed it. This doesn't happen every single time but it happens enough for it to be annoying. I have missed appointments due to this bug whilst running 8.2

cannot delete certain messages in the messages app. you can select the messages you want to delete but only have the option to "delete all". it happens both in a group text, text message and imessage.

Is that using iOS 8.3 or an earlier version?

Just Checking In

iOS 8.3 has made my iPad unusable, at least in my case.

Trying a fresh install to see if that helps.

I see. 8.3 supposedly had a fix for this type of an issue, but I guess perhaps not all instances were caught.

OK, excuse me from yesterday. not sure if I saw it at all or it fixed itself. it now shows the trashcan icon on the bottom left and can delete only selected messages. Top left has "delete all" when selecting messages. not sure if it was originally there or not but it's there now.

still waiting for my reminder siri. Im home still :(

photos deleted on iphone in photos pane dont delete from mac photos pane. (using photo stream not iCloud photo library). Also edits don't carry across to mac.

My 5S only has one set of bugs, but they are annoying. They're sound issues. 50% of the time, when I hit the power button, the "click"/close sound occurs about 5 seconds later, once in a while not at all, very strange. Sometimes the text notifications in Messages and in Facebook Messenger will also be cut off halfway, so you'll hear half a chime and wonder if the iPhone speakers got fried. This has been happening since 8.2.

I have no idea why this is, but now any time I restart my iPad Air 2, my keyboard shortcuts stop working until I add a new one or delete an existing one. What's really weird is I can add a new one on my iPhone and that will get my iPad's shortcuts working (since it syncs via iCloud).

This started with iOS 8.3.
