Just found another one..... when writing a mail in Mail app, in portrait, it keeps on typing and disappears to the right some before moving to the next line, as though it thinks it's in Landscape.

There's a new bug in iOS 8.3 where every now and then the Mail app stops working. It gets stuck "Checking for Mail" but it basically not working at that point. Trying to view existing mail messages shows "Loading..." and no new email will download for any mail accounts (iCloud, Yahoo and Exchange).

The only solution is to force kill the mail app and manually launch it again.

New WIFI issue.

Full bars signal, working on other devices inc an Android phone, PS3 etc but the iPad and iPhone refuse to do anything.

i.e cannot browse Safari, update Facebook app etc

In sunlight. Super bright sunny day. Screen keeps dimming. I set it to full brightness from control centre but it keeps dropping. Come on. It's still sunny as.

Ill try from settings see if it sticks but don't feel I should have to.

While reading a message received on whatsapp , and wait for the time set to be used for blocking screen, IOS doesn´t lock and don´t turnoff display light .

4 times since upgrading to iOS 8.3, I've had the Mail app get stuck "checking for mail" on two different devices. When that happens the Mail app stops working for all mail accounts (including Exchange accounts)and trying to view already downloaded emails simply shows "Loading..." I need to kill the mail app to fix this.

The main problem is recognizing when it happens since no mail downloads. The longest period was 12 hours before I noticed the problem. I just thought I wasn't getting emails, but I was.

I have this issue too. Any fix?

I've seen one mail account get stuck and mail just waits for it. I have 5 inboxes and for example if outlook.com gets stuck, everything waits for it.

Doesn't seem to be the mail app per se.

Safari occasionally slows to a complete crawl and it isn't my broadband connection because other apps, including newspaper apps, work blindingly fast. I've just experienced 10 minutes of Safari being completely dead. Force-closing the app did nothing either, it just wouldn't load any sites. Strangely it improved all of a sudden.

I don't know. I'm not the programmer

Well, it could likely be an app issue, which would be unrelated to iOS. Might want to contact Skype with that feedback. Where does it always use the number keyboard in Skype?

no thanks. I'll stick it here. There was a problem with words with friends. I stuck it here. Next update of words fixed it. So the message gets back. Skype was just updated. Maybe its fixed.

It's not like sticking it here gets the word anywhere. Not to mention that app bugs are not iOS bugs.

I don't know if its an iOS bug or an app bug. Im not a programmer. But I repeat myself...

Sounds like you implied you have a fairly good idea in various cases. And if you really care about the issues it certainly makes sense to contact the developers (unless you don't really care about them as much as basically in using them to support some principled statement).

Battery, battery, battery!! That's the number 1 issue for me and 2 others I have spoken to on here. Used to be great and now the phone won't last a day. Drains 40-60% while sleeping. Like I said, it's not just me experiencing this either, even with a fresh install of iOS and no apps, no mail, no iCloud, nothing setup.

Also, mail app crashes frequently and the health app sometimes loses all it's data. Won't come back until the phone is powered off then on and it magically all re-appears.

If you use a browser to post here (I am not really fond of the limitations of the forum app things), you may find that 8.3 renders some of the input widgets unusable. In Mercury (what I am using right now), if the link widget is tapped, the dialog to enter the link pops up and then Mercury freezes completely (it has to be fully quit to recover). Trying the same thing in Safari causes Safari to crash straight to the home screen. The same thing happens with the image dialog.

Yes, I can create shortcuts (and have done) to put in the bbcode. Still, this looks like a serious and troubling issue that needs to be fixed.
