leave me alone. added to Ignore list

Just clarifying for purposes of the thread. This is about iOS bugs, seems like it's not useful or helpful to take it off topic about other untested things (that can be discussed in other threads that would be appropriate for them).

So I filed a bug report about the Mail app getting stuck "Checking for Mail...", where it won't download any mail or open existing already downloaded emails for any Mail accounts and it was marked as a duplicate of an existing bug. Based on the bug number, it was reported at least a month before iOS 8.3 came out.

/s = end sarcasm ;) no clarification needed.

I guess I'm not ignored? What's the point of filling up a thread about actual iOS bugs with unrelated items ("/s"
or not), kind of takes away from the real issues making it more of a joke than anything actually valid and useful.

You were. I wondered what you replied so looked and thought I'd reply.

Whats the point?

Its a big flipping bug to not have a proper night mode. Does no one in cupertino use their frickin phone in the middle of the night and almost burn their eyes out?

come on its 2015 for crying out loud. There are robots in the sky killing people. There are tvs so thin and small they fit in our pocketcs and on our wrists, yet we can't have a proper dark mode?

its a huge bug :)

edit - and don't forget self driving cars, robots on mars... 3D printers... and on and on,

It's not a bug that's the point. It might be a missing feature at best or basically a suggestion more or less, but it's not a bug. Pretty simple.

This is in here in bits, pieces, duplicated, and repeated.

6+ and Mini2 - Safari on the Mini is far far worse. Tab reloads, off screen no-loads, slow-loads, etc....., spinning wheel, "There has been an error....." reloads, page never-loads.....

It just keeps getting worse with each incarnation.

4 times since upgrading to iOS 8.3, I've had the Mail app get stuck "checking for mail" on two different devices. When that happens the Mail app stops working for all mail accounts (including Exchange accounts)and trying to view already downloaded emails simply shows "Loading..." I need to kill the mail app to fix this.

The main problem is recognizing when it happens since no mail downloads. The longest period was 12 hours before I noticed the problem. I just thought I wasn't getting emails, but I was.

I'm not alone then! Also get random "cannot get mail" as if a password is wrong yet 10 seconds later all accounts receive something!

This is now happening at least once a day on my iPad.

This is a weird one.

Siri

change my Tuesday tax reminder

siri - which reminder do you want me to change?

shows a list

taps the one

siri - ok heres your updated reminder. shall I create it

she's changed it to one of the others.

Like I say weird as hell. What is she doing. I want her to change it to something else not to one of the others. She doesn't ask what I want to change it to or change it to what I want when I ask her.

Have you tried asking Siri to "update" or "modify" or "edit" the reminder instead?

I'm finding iOS 8.3 to be less stable than 8.2. The number of crashes to the Apple logo I saw in 8.2 was 0. In 8.3 I've seen 3, the last two were on both my iPhone 5s and iPad 2 and both happened yesterday (at different times).

App store hangs, stays in white blank screen forever unless force exit through numerous presses of the home button - this is since iOS 8.3.

Happens quite a bit.

Constant Safari page reloads.

Performance hit to older iPads like iPad 3

Think I had that when I set safari/cookies/block all

May not be the exact wording for settings.
I wrote would be better if cookie settings for all store we're seoerate / not tied to that setting.

My iPhone 5 keeps searching network! it's annoying i've tried everything to solve it, nothing work. I'm trying downgrade 8.2 now. Tell me if someone solve it anyother way.

iPad mini first gen.

Safari. The whole app. One giant bug if you ask me.
"This webpage experienced problems so it was reloaded". <-if I had a nickel for every time I've seen this for absolutely no real reason I'd just buy a new iPad.
The constant reloads for pages that exhibited no problems prior to iOS8 is nerve wracking. In all ways I love iOS8 EXCEPT for how safari performs for me. To me it's something Apple should be ashamed of. The most used application on an iPad functions properly about half of the time. I'm not sure how this passes QA for Apple.

iOS 8.3 is like a giant bug in itself !

Now loading YouTube results in instant wifi dropout and hangs Safari !

I have to shutdown iPad 3 and restart to return to normal !

siri set a 5 minute timer

ok 5 mintues and counting.

hmm why is my iPhone screen still on after 4 minutes?

oh its because the camera is open behind it because when touch ID unlocks the iPhone it goes to the last open app which was the camera..... which I used 20 minutes ago

So it's just on while on the lock screen?

So it's just on while on the lock screen?

Don't use Siri from lockscreen as its a privacy problem. Eg show contact all available info can be seen.

Touch ID unlocks iPhone when using Siri from locked iPhone. Instead of going to auto lock like it usually does it stays showing siris reply because it's gone to the camera. Make sense?

iTunes Artist info

I noticed that songs purchased from iTunes store, confuse the artist name.

For an eg. I have some compilation albums, which after I play a song which has a different name than that of the album artist, the rest of the songs, confuse the the artist name, with that of the different artist. This happened to me after iOS update 8.3 on my iPod touch (latest generation), and when I tried to listen to the album (not download) on my iPad Air 2 (with IOS 8.3), the wrong artist is listed.

This doesn't happen on songs which I didn't purchase from iTunes store.
