iPad mini first gen.

Safari. The whole app. One giant bug if you ask me.
"This webpage experienced problems so it was reloaded". <-if I had a nickel for every time I've seen this for absolutely no real reason I'd just buy a new iPad.
The constant reloads for pages that exhibited no problems prior to iOS8 is nerve wracking. In all ways I love iOS8 EXCEPT for how safari performs for me. To me it's something Apple should be ashamed of. The most used application on an iPad functions properly about half of the time. I'm not sure how this passes QA for Apple.

I agree. My 6+ is used mainly for web browsing and it is sadly rubbish for web browsing. Previous iPhones have been fantastic for web browsing!
Although 8.3 is in many ways light years ahead of all previous incarnations of iOS8, web browsing seems to be even more hampered (and it has always been lousy with iOS8). The amount of page reloads is a joke. If I use another browser from the App Store then instead of a reload message, the app just crashes me to the homescreen. There is some major issue with the web browsing engine.

iPhone 6+, and I have had it seize multiple times if the keyboard is up when the 'Join Network' box pops up. Occasionally the thing doesn't drop the keyboard.

I had an 'A' stuck on the screen, as the iPhone quickly had a meltdown and I was forced to shut it down and restart it.

I also had the iPhone seize when the 'Join Network' popped up just after I started an app.

I think turning off ask to join network would solve this issue, but I like having that popup in case a free or better wifi is in the area. I don't remember having these issues with earlier versions.

I haven't had much issues with browsing on mine but I do realize that it varies with what sites you go to, and how many. I tend to have several open pages, which are usually page links I've clicked in either facebook or twitter. I've had to clean out the number of pages left open from time to time. I have had Safari crash back to the home screen a couple of times. If I clean out some of the pages left open, it goes away. Usually it only crashes once.

Yeah, it's data-heavy sites like newspaper websites that give me the most bother.

It just happened again. My iPhone got sluggish and crashed to the Apple logo. I went to use my iPad and that crashed as well.

To the power on Apple logo? Is yours a 128? Could this be the flaky flash problem? Back shortly after launch, some people had issues with their 6+'s that were blamed on an exotic type of flash memory.

A friend of mine had it happen several times a day, but it's not been happening as much apparently lately. Hmm...

It's happening on both my iPhone 5s (32 GB) and iPad Air 2 (128 GB), usually when updating apps. It's not every day, but I never had them until after the update to iOS 8.3.

51 pages of iOS 8 bugs and still going strong.

iOS 8.4 better be good or Apple's really lost the plot.

Plenty of filler discussion in all these pages. Plenty of bugs in pretty much any software, and especially something more complex like an OS. That's not to say that bugs should be dealt with as much as possible and there should be less of them in general, but there will always be more than just a few.

Ios8 is really turning out to be a pain in the ass. I found IOS7 to be equally annoying. On my 5s 64gb, any of the apps can crash any time. Facebook, chrome, Safari, even the music app. Before this I had an iPhone 4 for 3 years. In those 3 years, I must have restarted the phone for random issues a total of 7-8 times. And crashes were even rarer. Yes, it was quite slow eventually but only when loading heavy items(the accelerometer would still work faster than my friend's s4 with its octa-core processor). And the apps would rarely crash even if they got a bit stuck sometimes. Now, 6 months into owning the 5s, I've had to restart it many times and the apps crashing situation is even worse. Don't get me wrong, I like the new OS and most of the new features but stability is why I got an iPhone in the first place. And that's where they're really starting to disappoint these days with the new iterations of IOS. Also, considering how fast the 5s is, why the hell is the OS not snappy on it?? This also makes me fear that iOS9(which is rumoured to be all about stability) would not work that well on the 5s. What do you guys think?

And, having been a small time software developer, NOTHING tests like releasing the product. No matter what it is.

It's like having a million monkeys pounding at a million keyboards (smartphones) coming up with a hundred thousand errors that you didn't think would be there, or that anyone would ever find.

And getting into the habit if 'shoehorning' new features into code rather than rewriting the whole thing causes its own issues. But then a rewrite does too...

I changed my new iPhone 6's language into Japanese, and changed it into English. However, part of its interface shows apps with Japanese, parts of apps shows with EN.

Rule #1:

Don't ever change the language to Japanese and then to English.

This is still really bothering me. I have posted this on a few places and no one has any suggestions. Optic white wallpaper images are given a shader depending on I don't know what. The stock Apple images don't, and before this last update this leopard spot wallpaper was optic like it shows in my photos album. But now when I try to reset it, it shows on the home screen shaded.

Anyone have any ideas?

start a 4 minute timer

you don't seem to have an app named four minute timer, we can look in the app store for it.

start A 4 minute timer

ok your timer is set for 4 minutes

things like this apple should be on top of either by limiting the names of apps or being a bit smarter with the siri AI

Using stopwatch on iPhone. Screen turns off after awhile.
Like huh! wtf! come on apple. Im using the stopwatch for a reason. I want to see it until I turn it off

Im using the stopwatch as I have a timer running at same time so can't use that.

On iPhone reminders. I have a note that is a long list of things to do before going on holiday. I can't select the bottom items to cut and paste them further up the list. The list is made up of parts like this

list of something to do
list of something to do
list of something to do

list of something to do
list

list of something to do

list of something to do
list of something to do
list of something to do
list of something to do

list

list of something to do

list of something to do
list of something to do

like that :)

Is it just me, is it coincidence? When I surf for porn in private mode on my iPhone two or three days later I get US phone call and when I check the number online it's a ppi ******** number. Is there a leak of my phone number that is shared with these companies?

I now have a bug for my lock screen. The time displays a total different time. Say the time is 3pm, the lock screen will say 10pm until I unlock it then it shows 3pm at the top. It only happens after the phone is in sleep mode unused for a while like 3 hours

Have you rebooted the phone to see if that would resolve it?

You should seek help for that first as not touching your iPhone for 3 hrs is not normal :D:p:D:);)

I'm seeing delays receiving SMS texts since upgrading to iOS 8.4. I had 2 other people tell me the same thing.

So are there any actual improvements with 8.4? We get a buggy, laggy music app with a poor UI but other than that, is it just some new bugs?

New Orientation bug for 8.4 o_O
Have had this happen several times but not consistently.
I will pick up my iPhone 6+ (64gb ATT) and when I unlock it is in landscape even though I an holding it in portrait. After a few seconds (2-3) it will orient correctly. When I open my calendar, it shows in landscape then after 2-3 seconds orients correctly. Stock email... same issue. This continues till I lock the device and reunlock. Then all is okay.
It appears to occur if the device has been sitting for several minutes on a flat surface.
