Feeling the same way after the event, might keep my 12 pro max for another year. maybe I’ll see when we get closer to preorders

But what happened? It’s beast mode remember? You did the same with iPad and then iOS 15 event. So angry afterwards lol. I figured you were back on meds now.

That will be an amazing upgrade. One you will absolutely feel. That's the type of upgrade to be excited over. Congrats.
Haha, I've actually come back to it very recently, having owned quite a few iPhones. I must say that all the convenience of iOS 15 beta does not, for me, outweigh those of a tiny phone.

The iPhone 13 Mini really sparks my interest. I thought about getting an iPhone 13 mini + an iPad mini...

Coming from an iPhone X. This phone has been so good to me that I saw no reason to upgrade. It'll likely still last me another year but I think it's time to upgrade.

13 Pro Max 128GB Sierra Blue

The two leather cases I ordered are already preparing for shipment.

At this point, I think I’m going to go for the 13 mini, in Blue.

There is a possibility I’ll go for the 13 mini in Pink, or the 13 Pro in Sierra Blue.

Currently I have the 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, which I have been very happy with. It’s my favorite design to date. The debate I had last year was between the 12 mini (for the size), the 12 Pro (I had an iPhone 11 Pro, so it would feel familiar, and I feel the 5.8-6.1” size is the biggest I could comfortably do, and I wanted the new camera features from the Pro), and the 12 Pro Max (I actually really didn’t want the size, but I wanted those Pro Max-exclusive camera features. I eventually settled on the 12 Pro as the happy middle. Like I said, I have loved it, but did find myself yearning for the 12 mini over the past year whenever I would see it and interact with it.

This year, pre-Keynote, I was pretty set on 13 mini. After the Keynote, and scouring the website to cross compare, I am still firm on 13 mini, especially since the non-Pro phones got the Camera boost (Cinematic Mode) I was hoping for.

The only things that could keep me on the Pro (13 Pro) would be keeping the LiDAR, the addition of ProMotion, and the new color, Sierra Blue.

The website makes me like the 13 mini Blue more to be honest though. The Sierra Blue looks almost too pale for my liking on the website. The 13 mini in Pink would be cute though, it’s a nice and soft Pink.

Boy, overthinking really makes decisions like these an unsatisfying experience. I remember when the only choices were "White or black? Storage size?" Now there are so many choices!

I was going to get a 13 mini. I got an SE 2020 when they came out a year and a half ago, and that was the biggest phone I'd ever had...the mini size looked perfect. But then I made the decision, pre-keynote, that maybe for the first time in ten years (ten years?!) I would get the top-of-the-line camera. But I look at how thick that camera module is. That's not the be-all, end-all. Table wobble WOULD get on my nerves, but that's not more important than having good cameras is to me this time around. But then I see just how much stuff I'm paying for that I don't doubt I will like but that is more than what I wanted. Strip it all down, and I'd be paying an extra $300 on a telephoto lens and macro photography. The first I would use all the time. The second is cool, too.

But all these variables make it tough to figure out where I'm going to go. I'll defer, I guess, until I can hold one in my hands and get a feel for it.

I do like the Sierra Blue.

I'm honestly not sure. I had hoped they'd at least make it support USB 3, which was on the Lightning port on the iPad several years ago and doesn't require a switch to USB-C. Devices with this much storage and still USB 2 are impaired.

Don’t you usually go along with the hype and convince yourself anyway? 🤣
The smaller notch and bigger battery are good. 2.5 hrs more than 12PM is a lot. Maybe close to the 11PM
Correct 😂 notch doesn’t look much smaller 🤦‍♂️ They didn’t even say if we’ll be able to add battery % on home screen, to busy carrying on about cameras again 🤦‍♂️😂 already getting 10 hours usage from my 12 pro max, I need to buy something DAMN IT!!! 🤦‍♂️😂 what to do, what to do. 🤔🤔🤔

Still have a couple of days to decide before preorders open, hmmm

I’m coming from iPhone X so the 13 pro is exciting me. I will choose Sierra blue in 256gb.
Already bought a clear case from Amazon to show off the blue color!
