you are right sorry...
No, not you haha. I accidentally entered my comment into this thread when I meant to enter it in another thread. So then I edited my comment to that since I can’t delete it.

Sticking with my 11 Pro Max. For me, I don't see a reason to upgrade.
I think I'm doing the same. My son desperately needs a new phone. the original plan for me was to upgrade my iPhone 11 Pro to the iPhone 13 Pro and then give my son the 11 Pro but I'm having a hard time justifying the price. May just buy him either an iPhone 11 or iPhone 12 Mini. Just worried about batter life on the iPhone 12 Mini. He currently has a really badly beaten up iPhone 8.

I think the iPhone 14 next year is going to give a lot of people buyer's remorse over their iPhone 13 purchase this year

Yea if the rumors are true for next year (which i feel most of them are). I will admit I upgraded with the iPhone XS and had buyers remorse the following year when the 11 pro max was announced. It wasn't fun dropping all that cash on phones back to back lol. So if you're someone who wants more features and different design from your phone, I would wait. Upgrading this year would only be worthwhile for folks with older phones (like iphone XS or older) in my opinion.

I currently have an iPhone 11 Pro. I skipped the 12 so I was ready for this. Honestly, I think I’ll give it a miss for another year. At this point I feel like I’d just be dropping 1K for the sake of it. It’s a great phone is it’s own right but yearly upgrades just feel like waste of money these days.

Same here. I was fully wanting to upgrade this year, but the iphone 13 just isn't compelling enough for me. Plus, I don't want to end up in another buyers remorse situation like I did with the XS and 11 Pro max LOL.

No buyers remorse here, IUP - I just upgrade every year

Last year I gave the "midsize" 12 Pro a try after using Max iPhone since they came out. For me the smaller size has a smaller advantage over the disadvantages (mainly, worse battery life but the smaller display was sometimes an issue). So happily going back to a Max in the 13 Pro this year ... looking forward to much better battery life, display, and camera 👍

This year it will be the iPhone 13 Pro Max 256GB for me :)
Apple leather case and charger is already ordered and should arrive on friday :)

My wife wants a new phone to replace her X and she would be happy with my 11 Pro max, so I'm considering the blue 13 Pro Max for myself. So we both get "new" phones. I'm in Mexico so our order date isn't until Oct. 1 (shipping Oct. 8) so I still have lot's of time to ponder choices.

I have never in my life experienced buyer’s remorse for an Apple product. Apple might invent revolutionary products, but their improve each line incrementally. With the exception of the original iPhone, there’s never been a truly compelling reason for me to purchase the next year’s release, and I doubt 2022 will be any different.

But if I’m wrong and the iPhone 14 is the most miraculous piece of kit Apple has ever produced, so what? I’ll have enjoyed a whole year with the iPhone 13 and be able to trade it in.

Good thing for me that won’t be the case, if things go the same way next year apple will be paying me 381 in profit to give them my 13 pro. I’ll gladly throw it back to them too

currently have 11 Pro and i’ve saved the 13 Pro Max config for pre-order. it’s the first time i’ll be getting the large size since my old 7+.

after years of enjoying the X and 11 Pro, I am finally intrigued with the larger size phone, though I’m afraid I may regret it because of larger footprint and weight. But then I KNOW ProMotion will be a much better experience on a larger display.

I’m going back and forth with the Pro and Pro Max, but will probably bite the bullet and get the Max. If I really dont like it, I can always return for something smaller.

I doubt you'll regret it at all, as long as you give it more than a couple of days. It will feel huge for a minute, but then will just start feeling totally normal, and you'll wonder how you lived without it.

13 Pro Max 128GB
But this time around with a brighter colour, as my last 2 iPhones were dark. Blue or Silver, let's go! 🤗

same exact feeling when i got the 6+ at launch YEARS ago. i was playing with the phone on the pooper and it felt so unwieldy. next thing you know i fell in love with the damn thing.

i guess im more apprehensive of the weight more so than the size. my SO’s 12 Pro feels substantial over my 11 Pro even though it’s the same size, just different shape with the squared edges.

12 Pro is actually larger than the 11 Pro, noticeably too.
