I don't mind the size...its the weight. It's just too much. I'm actually a android user, coming from pixel 4 xl which is same size(pretty much) as the 13 pro max. My pixel does not even weight as much as the 13 pro. It's going to be hard to buy a smaller phone or a phone with smaller screen. But, I probably will get use to that(I hope). So, I will go for the 13 pro instead of the max(just because of the weight).

When considering purchasing a new phone that you really don't need, it's a good idea to take your existing phone out of its case and admire it. Heck, get out the original box and remember what a thrill it was to unwrap it.
I do this with my 8 Plus from time to time. It's a beautiful phone and it works great. Why would I want a new one?

Maybe because i am a engineer and know exactly how these screens work. The manufacturer for the screens ( Samsung) have a algorithm for these screens and a SDK for development for the screens for the manufacturers who buy them. Apple is limited on what they can do through software. ?
Same. Marketing trick they use on the pro models and their use of cheap stainless steel over the regular models 7000 series aluminum. Which is superior. And cost three, almost four times as much. They make satellites and spacecraft out of it. 7000 series aluminum is very similar to titanium. You know the metal everyone is wishing on for the 14. They already have something similar available to them. But, marketing.

Doubt it, A15 + iOS + bigger batteries = legendary battery life, we have nothing to worry about.
