Thank you. She was thrown out of a truck in a parking lot 4 years ago. We rescued her and she is a great dog. She now has an entire house and a loving family.

That's awful. I hope they got the people who did that.

I love that show Rescue Ink on Nat'l Geographic. Big, burly guys who are softies for man's best friends.

Here is our bearded dragon Buddy. He lives with my mom and brother. So I grabbed a photo of him when I was there. He is about 5 years old and very spoiled:

Here are our two little house guests. They will eventually go to live at the garden center where my wife works.

This is Puck, the latest addition to my family. I moved into my first apartment over the summer and got him a couple months ago from a local rescue organization. He's a year old, and a combination of being extremely hyper, high strung, and adorably sweet all at once. I like to say he thinks he's a velociraptor trapped in a Chihuahua's body -- if you read Calvin and Hobbes, he always reminds of Calvin when he's pretending he's a big evil dinosaur that gnaws on things, like his mother's leg.

Anyways, I love him to death, the crazy little monster :)

Chihuahuas often seem to be that way. I theorize that it's size compensation. :D My aunt has a chihuahua and a great dane. Watching one of the smallest breeds and one of the biggest breeds play together was one of the funniest most entertaining things I've seen. That little dog is fearless!

Good to 'see' you around here too, BTW. :)

Ah, sorry, I missed that one! These mix names start to get confusing after a while. I'm used to the "poos". My parents have a Peke-a-poo (pekingese x poodle), my neighbors have a shih-poo (shihtzu x poodle), and some people down the street have a pug-a-poo (pug x poodle).

Is it just me or are poodles, like, the sluts of the dog world??? :p
