It's been a fun afternoon. I gave myself a $50 limit to go wild on the iTunes store. Lots of good deals out there, because I assume they know people are cruising for new apps. The iPhone 3GS is MILES ahead of my old 2G, definitely worth the upgrade.

Got the NLU BodyGuardz skin on (highly recommended). Red case is an iSkin Solo. White case is an Agent18 EcoSlimShield. Back is protected, chrome bezel is protected, couldn't be more pleased. (I recommend both, btw. They're excellent cases) I know I'm going to catch some flak over the mirror screen protector, but I like it. I've got a crystal film over the mirror protector, because the mirror finish is prone to scratch. I feel that hit a homerun this time around. It really can't get much better than this....until next year...

I have one and at saved my iPhone many, many times. I like my job, but a lot of thinks get damaged in my work truck if it's not protected.

Yes, the word 'iPhone' is shiny like the apple on the 3GS. It's matt on the 3G.

The scene at the chicago apple store on north michigan avenue this morning. I woke up and left the house at this morning which means i got 2 hours of sleep. I got in line and had my new (and first) iPhone by 7:30 and took this picture (with my 30D) on my way back home...to sleep/sync.

this thread is cracking me up. I bet all those morons waiting in line would have been pissed to learn I went to my local best buy at 11am and at 1122 walked our with 2 32G 3Gs phones, my son is looking forward to tuesday.

Congrats to all the new owners.
I have to compliment the posters on their quality pictures, if you could please post what cameras you guys are using.
Now bring on jail break so we can get the most out of out new toys.....

i already miss the metal back. it looks so much better

so far i've found it too easy to cover up the speaker by mistake muffling the sound

i like black things, but was up for a change so i got a white phone. but to protect it...

almost need a case to protect the case it looks so good!
