We got some heavy rain about 6PM here in denver. There is a car here half covered in water. The lady driving it had no idea how deep the water was and drove right into it stalling the car. Two guys waded in and pushed the car out. They were bailing water out of the car with plastic cups a few hours later.
These photos were taken at the same time, with the same light. (and yes both lenses were wiped clean prior to taking the pics)

WOW!!, thats what i wanted to see, a comparison 3G vs 3GS of the same thing !!
now i want a 3GS!!, too bad im not elegible for update or early update at high price, just a no comitment for 600-700!!

BTW: I think Apple shoul've make the 3G last year like the 3GS is now, cause the 3G wasnt really too much of an upgrade from the 1st gen., but mehh thats apple's way to sell more!
We saw something like that here a while back. On University there's one of those drains in the curb. Well this one needs fixed so it's MUCH bigger than it needs to be. The was was covering the entire curb in front of the gas station so when they tried to pull into it they didn't know where the actual drive in area was and got stuck in the drain/water. It had rained nearly 50% of our total annual rainfall in that one day.

Thought I would see how the new 3Gs would handle concert footage with light shows etc as the old 3G was (expectedly) rubbish.
The 3Gs will actually give you a viewable picture but as you can see the results are not great - certainly not up to the standards of my N95.
The video footage proved clearer but there does not seem to be any microphone input control so the volume of the gig blew the sound and midway through the sound just cut out all together - Anyway this is the mighty UFO at Shepherds Bush Empire last night with support band Raven Vandelle (?).
