There's hardly any comparison between the 1st gen's camera and the 3GSs. This is the first cameraphone I've felt could take the place of a compact point-n-shoot digital camera. The tap to focus... and adjust exposure... and adjust white balance... all at once is way beyond what I've seen before (I had a Sony Ericsson with white balance and exposure controls, but they sucked). I really want my Canon to have tap to focus now.

Downtown P-town I see! I go to school at OSU so I'm around this area every few weeks to get my fix of Voodoo Doughnuts

All of these pictures are looking amazing compared to the 3G camera, Apple did a good job. Seems like outdoor lighting is pretty much the best environment for the sensor...
