Nope. Not a clue.

Said in a hollow voice.

A picture of my personalized plates. Anyone else geeky enough to know what this is from without a search engine?:D

Well, I had to look it up since I'm not geeky enough! Apple's default password for Network Assistant, nice. :p

Bored at work today, so I took a cool pic of the audio board. This is my new home screen :)

More from me, all of these I took then added a bit of artistic flair with either Photogene or Mill Colour:

A few observations in the short time I have had the 3GS.

I have been amazed at the quality of the camera since Friday. Considering the compactness of the camera it does amazingly well. The lens seems to have a focal length of 3.9mm and a fixed aperture of f2.8 so the depth of field in close shots is shallow enough to produce some good results when combined with the autofocus. A 3MP sensor is a good compromise for the size. My first DSLR was a Canon D30 back in 2001. Some of the results from that camera were far superior to a lot of cameras advertising higher resolution at that time. It came down to lens, sensor quality and electronics. You can expect low light shots to be fairly poor. Some of the low light shots I took with the 3GS show an ISO of more than 1000. If I use my Canon G10 at ISO400 upwards the noise becomes very noticeable. Still thats the penalty of having 15MP, pushing too higher pixel density on the sensor.

Another thing I have noticed compared to the 3G. There is a bit more EXIF metadata stored in the image. Shutter speed (varies with amount of light), Focal length (3.9mm) and ISO Speed rating which also varies with the light.

As a small easy to carry point and shoot I am very pleased with it. And a big bonus of geocoded metadata with the built in GPS. Very few cameras have that at the moment.

looks good but you have some detailing swirls, I would go back to the place that did it and tell them to redo it ( or like a few of us learn how to do it yourself :) )

Yeah, those are annoying. I bought the car two months ago, the dealer had it done before I bought it. No clue who did it. I just decided not to worry about it until waxing time comes again.

Photography is a big hobby of mine and these photos are actually very good. Thanks everyone for sharing them. :)

It's a hologram affect made by someone who messed up with a rotary buffer. Waxing won't fix it. You'll need to bring it to someone who knows what they are doing with a rotary buffer. It won't take them long, but it will require skill. Look for a very reputable detailer in your area.
