you trying to make others feel fat arent you? im not saying im fat but the others that tend to weigh more...

im 21 and 5'11 weighing at 145 lbs

Wow, most "Body weight" quiz thingies tell me that I should weight about 20 pounds less. If I weighed 20lb less I'd probably look anorexic. I'm 22, male, 6'4" and weigh 200lb.

I think I am at a very healthy body weight.

5'10"..160lbs, 21 years old.

I've seen some indexes that show me overweight (some even conclude that a person of Tom Cruises height and weight is overweight).

Nearly any height:weight ratio can be healthy, it just depends on body fat %.

I can gain 50 pounds and still be healthy if it is mostly muscle.

6'4" and at 177 pound of a combo of fat and muscle. Trying to lose the fat though by exercising.
By the way I am 17.

21 5"3 and 65kgs...dont know what it is in pounds around 138? I used to be 180 so I think I'm doing well. Hit the gym in a big way

i have been nearly 20 pounds over my ideal body weight for years

male, 5'7" and 170-ish pounds and i wish us americans would switch over to metric already because i have a hard time imagining people in centimeters :)

i hope it does not have bad consequences down the line, and i am like some of those who can be slightly "obese" and still live into their 80s as dr. dean edell has mentioned...though being closer to an ideal body weight increases most peoples' chances for longevity

age 15
height 141cm
weight 44kg

It's been a while since I measured myself. I know I'm very lightweight, but I'm short (very) and I have well toned muscle so I'm not that bad off...

hi when I was 18 to My bmi was 23 odd (we didn't know what bmi was back then) But I was 6 foot tall,
Now I am 77 my height has become 5ft 10ins..and shrinking,why am I overweight
just because the articular cartilage between my vertebrae has compressed.by 2.5 ins (and getting more) due to normal ageing why do I have to eat less.
according to models I must loose 20lbs..that cost a lot to put on'

49, I'm 6 foot 3 inches and shrinking :p (due to my age). and I'm about 172. I fluctuate between 170 and 175 depending on how hard I work out during the week. The intense work out the more likely I'll be on the lower end

35yrs .. 6'2 ... 250lbs

I'm usually at 220lbs, but I've been lifting a lot recently.

Everyone gets surprised when I tell them my weight, cause I have skinny lower legs and a flat stomach. I don't look my weight at all.

I think this thread died from starvation 8 years ago. Why are people trying to resurrect it? Can't it rest in peace???

My thoughts exactly; why on earth are people attempting to resurrect it?

Now, I do get that in the social media era, many people are busily playing the starring role in their own life story with great enthusiasm, - sometimes to extraordinary acclaim - but, to be quite honest, this is information I would barely consider disclosing to myself, let alone announce it to an audience on an online forum…..

26, 5'11", 210 lbs. about 17% body fat. A lot of muscle but still fatty. Meh.

You and I are examples why BMI doesn't work. I get the same thing. I have to wear L-XL shirts because pectoral muscles, but all the shirts hang.
