I just picked up a Newton MessagePad 2100 for my collection today. Compared to my iPhone X it's more a toy than anything else but I'm intrigued by retro tech... I can see myself using this MessagePad for something

The 2000 and 2100 MessagePads have two PCMCIA slots
So I have an ethernet card in one slot and a 20MB flash storage card in the other. This messagepad comes with 8MB RAM which is practically nothing compared to the 256GB my iPhone X has...
I'm amazed what could be done with just that amount of memory back in the day... the messagepad still works so I will recondition this device and have it restored properly again before putting it in my collection....
