Not bad! My WiFi: D/L 16.36, U/L 3.75

Location: Huntsville, AL Verizon LTE

I took that test today on the Skytrain in Vancouver, BC, Canada stopped at the Commercial/Broadway station on the Expo line.

On saturday, I activated my LTE and I got 98 Mbits/s download at Pacific Centre mall downtown but I cannot remember the upload speed.

At home, I've been getting around 18 Mbits/sec download and 3 up.

PS. Our carriers are all offering 2 months unlimited data on the their month to month flex plans. :D

Verizon - 3G / LTE
  • Bottom two are LTE on 1 bar
  • Technically not in a LTE or extended LTE area, with closet LTE cell Tower about 5 miles away.

American carriers are too greedy and stupid to think of offering something like this to entice people to buy their product.

My Verizon iPad was showing 3G connectivity at home until I actually signed up for service, at which point it switched to LTE. At 3 bars I got 50 down, 24 up. (Hendersonville, TN area)

Wow mine speeds are horrid. I'm in Denver on VZW I got VZW to tether to my MacBook air and PS Vita. Currently watching Netflix at lunch.

These are the two best results I've gotten with ATT HSPA+ in new orleans on my iPhone 4S.

Top number is my iPad and second set of numbers is my house wifi.
My speed is really bad at my house in Ohio. I figured it would be, since my Verizon phone needed a booster to work right. Going to Cleveland tomorrow (as a passenger) and will play with it on the way. Hope to see better results.

Anybody have speedtest results for Verizon and AT&T for the north jersey area (jersey city, bayonne, newark) near New York?

Just wondering so when I return my wifi only iPad before the 14 day period I can get the carrier faster in my area. Want the Verizon because of the hotspot but wouldn't get it if the speeds were bad.

Test Date: Mar 21, 2012 12:16 AM
