For those of us that hide the dock:

defaults write com.apple.dock autohide-delay -float 0; killall Dock

is a great timesaver, making the dock show immediately upon the cursor touching the edge.

Although I adjust it from time to time, my current preference is:

defaults write com.apple.dock autohide-delay -int 0;defaults write com.apple.dock autohide-time-modifier -float 0.2;killall Dock

autohide-time-modifier speeds up the animation.

Outside of some UI inconsistencies, which are purely cosmetic related and have no bearing on my day to day, I have had zero issues with Tahoe.
